I somehow ordered this full face helmet when I meant to order the modular. I reached out to HAX through Amazon explaining my mistake and asking how it should be handled, They suggested it will be quicker/easier to purchase the modular and send the full face back for a refund. The more I looked at the full face version, the more I liked it and showed it to my wife, who fell in love with it so I just kept it for her. My modular came the next day so I contacted them again, and both times received timely responses to my inquiries. A few days later I noticed a $30 coupon for the modular, so I reached out to them again and they were more than happy to refund me the difference. I read a few reviews that cautioned their customer service, but that is not what I experienced. They were quick to respond, answered all my questions, and issued a refund. I just got done setting both helmets up with Bluetooth intercom. I used mine for the first time yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the fit and performance. For me, having the ability to go open face at any given time quickly is massive. The vents seem to be in all the right places and they work well. I highly recommend this helmet and company. True to size 100% perfect fit. Ventilation is great. Oversize visor increased peripheral vison substantially. Much lighter and quieter than my last helmet which was just entry level. Great budget helmet if you’re a beginner, this was my first helmet. The padding was pretty deft but beware if you wear a large it’s going to fit like an xl after a few months. A basic adhesive pin lock alternative at the very least is required, without it, it fogs quite a bit. The visor was pretty good when it came to protecting from sun glare but a beetle at 90mph will tear up the outer tint layer. Vents on the helmet help with the heat but made the wind noise unbearable without ear plugs and even then it’s still pretty loud. In all, the helmet was a decent value for a beginner but if you value noise protection and overall quality, don’t make the mistake I made, just buy a shoei Rf-1400 right out the gate. ... show more

Holy crap. Fits amazing, has great air movement to keep your head cool on hot days in traffic. Glad I returned the more expensive one I purchased as a backup in case I didn’t like this one. Had to have before the next week. Give this company a try for sure. Glad I did. It’s super quiet inside at 75MPH. Doesn’t move around and can easily where my AirPods for the long rides. Overall the helmet has been good. Fits well and the included features are great for the price. That being said I cycle daily to and from work and needed to put on a clear visor because I didn't feel safe with the loss of light in the dark when I work early morning/late shifts. Bought a clear replacement from HAX and the original visor material is to weak to withstand removal. Holding the release open is fine for the bottom tab to snap out, but the top tab relies on just being levered out and it snapped instantly. So a good helmet for the price point, but if you need to swap visors be forewarned they are apparently disposable, which is very disappointing and costly. ... show more
