Was so indecisive about this book shelf. I saved an extra 10% so I think that’s why I choose it BUT it’s beautiful. Better than the pictures you’ll see on here. So modern, nice and holds up nicely! The wood almost looks real and it has this gloss that makes it nice. Definitely worth the price.

I needed a bookshelf to store my books/comics and was having trouble because of the COVID situation. Took a chance buying this one (I was worried because of the cheap price and the rated weight per shelf). But everything worked out just fine. As you see in my photo, the bookshelf holds more weight per shelf then advertised. The spacing between shelves will fit absolute editions from DC comics. The dark "wood" matches my room color well. I don't worry about the bookshelf falling over, it is sturdy. The black coating on the frame isn't the most durable, so be sure to put a towel down when assembling if you are not building it on carpet.

All in all, this is a pretty good bookshelf for the money! I like that the shelf coloring is on the top and under sides. So much build it yourself furniture isn't colored on the underside and I hate that, so that's a star right there for this bookcase. It was pretty easy to assemble by myself, although getting the side racks to stay straight and not lean over while screwing the shelves on was a little annoying. I'm glad they give you extra hardware because a few of the plastic pieces that go in the shelf holes were warped. Another negative of this shelf was that the holes in the metal weren't punched out all the way, so I had to use needle nose pliers to grab the punched out piece and remove it from the frame, otherwise my screws wouldn't go in. Everything else went smoothly with the setup, and I had it assembled in about 45 mins. It is a little wobbly on my carpet, but I think it's partly because our foundation isn't level. Anywhoser!! Love it for the price I paid!

This bookshelf has a very good quality, and the design is simple and beautiful, very practical. The length and width are exactly what I want, perfectly fit in a medium-size bedroom. This great bookshelf will give me a good space to put my books! Highly recommend to anyone who want a bookshelf!

This shelf is so beautiful. It matches my office desk and perfectly and really completes the space. It hold all my books with no issues. It was also pretty easy to assemble. I put some of the pieces on backwards at first but that’s my own fault! Would highly recommend. Great value for the money.

Quite possibly the oddest thing I’ve put together. Since the idea is that it is packaged and portable to be shipped the frame is in four pieces. The pieces don’t slide together but are acrewed secure witha metal pieces that goes inside the bar and you screw that right to create a stable frame. The shelves are stewed in but helium place I the first 1-1.5 inches of particle board by plastic anchor type screws. It’s just a weird piece of furniture and you need two people. No instructions really other than these are the screws identifies as A-g Not convenient for students or someone alone. Get something local and have it delivered. I’m not sure it can handle the weight of any let alone a filled shelf of books

I was looking for a bookcase to replace a $20 bookcase from another retailer that collapsed after about a year (think catastrophic failure). I found this bookcase on Amazon and I liked that it had metal supports and no back, which made it easy to run wires (I have all of my network gear on this bookcase along with a good number of books). Assembly was not difficult at all. The instructions were easy to follow, and there was at least one extra of just about everything, which is always appreciated. It was a bit wobbly at first because I followed the instructions and didn't tighten everything down hard until the very end, but once I did this it was very sturdy. It had no problem holding a giant battery backup, network attached storage, several college texts, and my modem and router. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. It looks great (minus my horrible cable management, but that is not the bookcase's fault) and I do not anticipate I will have the same issue I had in the past.
