Plus, it didn’t really solve our need for when we’re out and about locally. This does!! First of all, they totally come in gorgeous colors, but I really love that it has the exact same noise choices as their other devices, which I do think helps with consistent “sleepy cues”. I am so happy I bought this sound machine. It has so many different sounds and matched great with the large hatch that stays in the bedroom. This portable one is so easy to use and is great for on the go. This was a must have when we were in the hospital. It kept my little one asleep and the sounds are relaxing for everyone who has to listen to it. The battery on it is great and last all night and most of a day before we have to charge it. I received an email from Hatch advertising this new portable sound machine and didn't even think twice before placing an order. I have the Hatch table-top machine and use it daily for my son. This portable sound machine has made stroller walks and car rides a lot easier. It has different sound options depending on your preference and volume control. I love how simple it is to use. My son loves this little machine. I’ve been using to for the last week to put him down for naps and it have helped so much. We tested it out today when my husband and I ran errands with our little man. Our little man doesn’t nap in his car seat at all but today he did. He slept through a car ride and through the grocery store with this on. Pros: It’s small, easy to take on the go and it’s loud enough to tune out other noises. The battery life is really good, I’ve only had to charge it once within a week. Cons: I will say the material that it’s made out of is a little noisy. When it hit against itself or something it’s pretty loud. I’m not a fan of the loop holder it comes with but I’m going to replace it with a paracord bracelet. But overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone that needs a portable white noise machine. ... show more

Love the color, size, and ease of use. Right from the box super easy to set up and use. Comes with a convenient ring handle for hanging/fastening to things. Haven't tested it so not sure about battery life, but the included charging cable is nice and it charges quickly.

We love our big hatch so we ordered the portable one for outside our newborns bassinet. I can tell you, the battery life isn't 15 hours. It's hardly ten. I put newborn down between 8- 830 pm and it's dead by 5am. Which is unfortunate. I also wish it could be alittle louder. The convenience of it being mobile is nice. I was delighted to find a portable sound machine from Hatch, a company we already trust for all our sound machine needs at home, when I was shopping for our second baby. The design is gorgeous, it's easy to use, has a ton of variety of sounds, and has eased everyone in the house to sleep at one point or another, from newborn to grandparents. The charge lasts for longer than expected as well. The other day I was sure I'd neglected the charge and would be out of luck, but it worked like a charm (what a relief!). The shushing sound machine we had for our first child was lovely, but an eye-sore compared to these beautiful tones and soft lines.
