First note that this mug is not for 20-ounces of drinkable liquid, more like only 17 or 18 ounces of, say, coffee. it’s 20 ounces to the brim. It has a good feel to it. We’ve been using it for hot soup and it works fine. The color is a pretty blue, not quite as royal a blue as in the description picture, maybe a tad of gray tone. Also the transition from the dark blue to the lighter blue is not as clear in person. This blue mug is a little pricier than the other colors offered and I'm not sure it warrants that. My cup looks nice and doesn’t have any flaws. I don’t typically heat mugs up in the microwave, but it’s held some very hot boiling water just fine. I have small hands with thin fingers so this cup feels the right weight for me, and the walls are thick enough; but others with larger hands may want something bulkier and heavier to hold. More stoneware style, I mean. In terms of value, you should consider this cup, but also do a bit of comparing prices and sizes. if you’re someone who needs a really large coffee mug, I’d look for an even larger, heftier 23-ounce size at a comparable price so that you'll get your full 20 to drink.

I ordered this mug to keep my morning coffee warm a bit longer and it works fabulously! Very thick walled and insulates hot coffee inside for an hour or so. The shape of both the mug and the handle make it easy and comfortable to hold despite the slightly heavy weight. The blue glazed design is absolutely gorgeous! Easy to rinse clean, but also machine washable and doesn't show any wear due to daily use and washing. Microwaveable, but isn't really necessary since the contents stay warm for so long. 100% recommend!

OK...I obtained this mug because I loved the awesome blue gradient glaze, but I've found it to be excellently crafted as well. It has a nice sized handle which is comfortable to grasp. The mug holds a generous 20 oz of hot or cold liquid when filled to the brim. Oh, and by the way the glaze is even more beautiful in person as you can't the richness of the color in a picture. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this mug. It's supposed to be dishwasher and microwave safe, but I won't chance that, I'll continue to hand wash it and use the microwave, as I don't want to risk marring the beauty of it.
