I was afraid this may be a cheapy. I was way wrong. This is a quality ceramic dish. Nice weight and perfect size for a lot of dishes we currently use with our Pyrex/Anchor Hocking. It also makes a pretty good presentation on the table. You can do anything in this dish. Pasta loves it. It is deep. Perfect for lasagna, baked spaghetti, etc. Roast a steak, pork chops or serve potatoes. Bake a cobbler or a cake. Small turkey or serve a salad. Use it for cinnamon rolls. Whatever ! When it's done, it's dishwasher safe. I like the size because it is not so big that it takes the whole oven. This is a simple dish that makes a lot of sense to have.
