I bought the classic Bop It as a quick game for family nights, and it ended up being way more fun than I expected. I remembered the older version from when I was younger, but this updated one is louder, faster, and definitely more challenging—in a good way. Design & Durability: The device feels solid and well-built. Even with kids twisting and pulling on it pretty aggressively, the plastic doesn’t flex or feel cheap. The buttons respond quickly and there’s no lag between commands and movement. It’s lightweight enough for kids to hold but sturdy enough that it doesn’t feel like a disposable toy. Gameplay: The voice commands are clear, and the speaker volume is surprisingly good for a toy in this price range. Bop It has three core actions (bop, twist, pull), but the speed ramps up quickly, which keeps it exciting. We’ve used it with kids as young as 6 and adults, and everyone picks it up instantly. It’s one of those games that looks simple until you’re actually trying to keep up with it. Modes & Replay Value: There are multiple modes—solo, pass-it, and a speed mode—so it works for individual play and group settings. The “pass it” mode is perfect for parties or family gatherings because it gets competitive fast. I like that the game keeps track of your high score, which makes it fun to keep improving. I got Hasbro Gaming Bop It for my son, and he absolutely loves it! It’s such a fun, fastpaced game that keeps him moving and thinking at the same time. It’s great for improving focus and coordination, and he can play it for hours without getting bored. It’s also a big hit when friends or family come over everyone ends up joining in! My grandson, my niece and my nephew are 9 years old. They all love this toy and do spend quite a bit of time playing with this. It’s obnoxiously loud for those who are around when they play, though. You just keep wishing they’d stop the game… which they won’t, because they just love this thing.

My daughter said she wanted a Bop-It for her 10th birthday and to my surprise I found one on Amazon!! Was so proud she wanted a toy from the 90s and that they still make it! A simple and fun version that we love and have played time and time again since getting! She’s already beat the high score which is cool and exciting (100 in a row) and we play “pass it” which is fun too! That’s so two players can play and pass it back and forth.
