I LOVE this game, it comes with all sorts of components and is worth the price and more! The plastic figures are durable and well detailed, and the game-play is different every time. I brought it to my acting camp to play with friends and we enjoyed it incredibly. The 12+ rating has nothing to do with the difficulty of the game, but has more to do with the gruesome parts (the event cards). There are no gruesome images , just descriptions. I played with my 6 year-old cousin as well as some 10 year-old friends and they enjoyed it just as well. This game has an infinite amount of possible game-play combinations because you and your family/friends build the board as you go, and the scenario card you choose at the beginning decides which haunt goes into play. It is honestly the most fun I've had in a while, and I highly recommend!

One of my friends had an older copy of the game but it was starting to wear out a bit. This new edition of the game has some nice rule improvements as well as some beautiful updates to the card arts. Overall the quality of this version is very nice and if you are looking for a spooky themed board game to play with some friends this is the game for you!

Everything in the box is really well done, only downside is the character "discs" feel they could've done something better like Eldritch Horror and have character sheets so we cam sleeve them, because moving the pin on the disc's for stats decrease/increase scratches the artwork. That's my only downside but everything else is great, I even sleeved the tiles to last longer๐

I upgraded from 1st edition and have to say the game has only gotten better. Just wish there were more expansions. Should be good for many playthroughs though.

Game arrived in perfect condition in one day! I have played all 3 editions of this game, and they have cleaned up mistakes in the players handbook and haunt guide (the other editions had missing monster stats, confusing rules, missing information). We have played 5 times and so far we haven't found any vital information missing, but will just wing it if we do. Room tiles are sturdy and full color. Cards are quality thick card stock and also full color. The player miniatures now have colored rings on their bases so it's quick and easy to know who is who. I love this game! Players play cooperative for the first part of the game, and then there is a chance that one player is going to go rogue and be The Traitor! Out come The Haunt rules....and the players have a goal and The Traitor has a goal. Whoever accomplishes their mission wins! Explore the house......then try to defeat the house! Great game!
