We loved this for our families Halloween costumes as all of us were Harry Potter characters... We decided on Hedwig for our infant as in effort to keep her warm in central NY. It was warm but not as much as we hoped. The inside isnt the same as the outside. Inside it's that cheap scratchy (not too bad for baby though) plastic like mesh instead of the fuzzy/warm outside. Aside from that it was great. It washed well too. We put the baby in a pumpkin with this on and after a quick wash and dry it looked new again. ... show more

I purchased this item for my 14month old son as a Halloween costume. I did purchase it while he was 12 months old to avoid the price increasing the closer we get to Halloween. I have put it on him to check for sizing which was spot on. Please consider my 14 month old is average size in length and slightly on the slimmer side (doesn’t really matter as the outfit is supposed to be a baggy type look). The feel and comfort of material/fabric is as described. He did not fuss with having it on which is always a plus.
