Description

Bring all the speed and excitement of a real Quidditch match to your home with Catch the Golden Snitch, a Quidditch game for witches, wizards, and muggles. Everyone plays at the same time as cards are quickly passed from player to player, each trying to build sets and earn points. In the center of the action lies an open Quidditch Chest, with a Quaffle, two Bludgers, and the all- important Golden Snitch. When you lay down certain cards, these magical items come out to play! A pair of Chaser cards lets you steal another player’s set, but if you’ve earned the Quaffle, you’re safe. Play a pair of Bludger cards, grab a Bludger, and throw it at a player of your choice -- if they swat the Bludger in air and it hits another player, that player must discard the cards in their hand. The action moves faster than a Nimbus 2000 as cards change hands, sets hit the table, and Bludgers hit their mark. When the Golden Snitch launches from the chest and into the air, grab it – it’s worth extra points! The game ends when the Golden Snitch is in hand; the player with the most points wins. For fast-paced action and excitement, play Catch the Golden Snitch with your wizarding family and friends. For ages 8+, 3 to 4 players.

  • Fantastically fun & fast-paced
Color: Golden Snitch
While a bit complex to play the first few times (much like the actual game of quidditch), it gets easier and is loads of fun. Fast paced and fun for adults and kids (tested at age 8 in my house). It is a somewhat chaotic game with balls flying all over the room, so be ready to be rambunctious. Not to be played near breakable objects. They did a great job of transferring the excitement and speed of the book into a non-flying game for Muggles. ... show more

  • For the HP lovers
Color: Golden Snitch
Got this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it. So much fun for kids!! I'd say of course anyone who loves HP this is a must. Probably ages 6/7 or up would be best. It's not a huge game that takes up a lot of space. It's super cute to watch the kids get really into it. Good value for the money.

  • SMALL but Fun!
Color: Golden Snitch
This game is SMALL. A little bigger than two playing cards end to end. The snitch has a post attached to it, which was disappointing for my child who wanted to carry it around and play with it, but the post makes the snitch easier to catch when it shoots up. This game is fun for kids and adults, although slightly TOO fast paced for my 6 year old. With some rule modifications it has been great though! The balls have the plastic feel and bounce like ping pong balls so they don’t hurt when they get thrown at you. ... show more

I bought this for my niece for her birthday who is obsessed with Harry Potter and now my son wants one. There are so many different games to play which meet the needs for kids of all ages. It has a vibrant color design and keeps kids focused on the game while having fun. Very functional for kiddos who love Harry Potter and playing games since they will have endless fun. ... show more

  • Fun puzzle! Couple drawbacks
Color: Harry Potter Perplexus Go (Snitch)
Overall this is a very charming, fun, complex, and compact puzzle. Evokes the Potter universe in many ways. Two drawbacks: -The entire interior is gold, which makes it harder to read the numbers and distinguish the different steps than the other puzzles made by Perplexus. -the Snitch stand is a bit wobbly/flimsy, and detaches very easily. Other than that, excellent! ... show more

  • This maze ball looks awesome and is great for any puzzle fans
Color: Perplexus Prophecy
This puzzle ball looks amazing and is a great way to work on your puzzle solving, dexterity, annd hand eye coordination. It isn’t the most difficult, but it helps prepare for similar elements in the more difficult maze balls.

  • Disappointed: will gather dust nicely
Color: Golden Snitch
Bought this for my 12 yr old HP fan. It seemed fun before purchasing, but by the time we all (fam of 4: 12 yr old, 9 yr old, myself and husband) read the encyclopedia of how to play and all the stipulations, cards, actions for this that and the third….we opted not to even play. It was too overwhelming which sucks the fun out of a game. Not sure we’ll ever bother playing. I was hoping it was more like a trivia of some sort, not all this “if this, do that” 25 diff ways. And also, don’t forget to be sure to smack the hard plastic ball at the other players when it pops up and hope no one screams crying while whoever gets whacked - and now has one eye open or a bleeding gash - now gets to pull more cards. We’ll pass. ... show more
