We bought this bed for my almost 3 year old daughter to transition out of her crib. I’m so glad we got this one because she’ll be able to use it for years to come. I love that it’s close to the ground without having the mattress directly on the floor. It only took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put it together. Directions were clear. No chemical smell which was something I was concerned about due to reading reviews on other house beds. If you’re thinking about getting this bed do it. The price is great and very good quality so far.

Came packaged very well although the driver left mine out in the rain, thankfully no damage to the wood. My son had it up in about a half an hour. Sturdy but not meant to hang on. My son hung lights on the frame which made it look so comfy and cute. Takes a single mattress. Also takes single sheets and comforter. Would be good for girl or boy as you can decorate it any way you’d like.

For the price, this is a good bed. There are a lot of issues with it though. All of the pictures show the damage that was present when I opened the box. None of this was caused by me. Examples: cracks that have been poorly repaired, chipped wood and paint. Also, the long beams at the top are too flimsy. They’ll probably hold up if your kid doesn’t try hang off of it, but, for a lot of kids, that’s going to be difficult to stop. Hoping it holds up for my child!

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble once u get passed the initial 1st step or 2 and we love it for my 4 year old who autistic and easily falls off the bed so this is great since it’s so low to the ground. The only downside is getting passed the smell of the paint/wood. Letting it air out through the night in hopes it will help also been wiping it down with a mix of some fabuloso all purpose cleaner and a dash of water with rag. Will update on the smell. UPDATE: Plugged in a ferbreze wall plug and closed her door and the smell is completely gone we live this bed!!

This product is incredibly poorly made. After unboxing all of pieces and started assembly, multiple screw holes were not pre-drilled properly. The receiving board holes were pre-drilled too big or not deep enough which did not allow for proper construction. The top and sides were loose even after full assembly. Multiple slats had splits at the ends, not allowing me to properly attach them to the bed frame. On top of all of that, the instruction manual was incredibly difficult to discern and pictures contradicted each other making assembly a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and just order something from IKEA for the price.
