I put this mudmotor on a Sundolphin 12 foot Jon boat .Setup was easy,Assembly was easy Less than 30 minutes. Alot of torke and average 12to15mph wide open with 2 people. Im 300lbs my wife140lbs gear 60lbs.Has a idle speed of 5mph perfect for crusing.When u crank it the propeller takes off so keep prop / tiller handle down.When you let propeller down it will take off.we have used it in bogs with 4 to 6 inches of water no problems so far been out 4 times on 6 hrs for fishing trips scene purchasing. We have had a blast so far highly recomend.Seller was absolutely A#1 arrived in 4 days packed perfectly no problems .Several Utube vids on assembly. You can get to hard to fish spots noone else can get it weigh's around 49lbs.would most definitely buy again.Oh yes it took about 10 min to fully learn the driving concept.(very simple though).Thanks for reading. ... show more

I bought this for my husbands boat and he is over the moon. The product shipped in multiple boxes so dont be alarmed if you do not receive all of the parts in the first package. It fired up the first pull and he has not had any trouble so far.
