Description

The Harmony Audio HA-TRUSSKIT includes everything need to set up a light show on a small to medium-sized stage including (2) Tripod stands and a 10 foot section of truss that features an adjustable height range of 5 to 10 feet. Each stand included in the package features a minimum height of 5 Feet and raises all the way to a maximum height 10 Feet putting your gear up and out the way for the show. We have raised the bar with our T-Couplers they feature bolt through connectors and all-metal finger screws which shortens both setup and take downtime.

For the money I am pleased with this truss system. Is it professional grade.... No, but it will serve most local bar bands and DJs very well. I did slide two pieces of 1.25" aluminum tubing inside the truss were they two sections connect just for added stability. No worries about sagging in the middle now. This is something the manufacture might actually think about adding to this kit. ... show more

    • Trusswork sags under little weight
I read it in other reviews, but assumed the weight ratings/distribution was off. I assembled the tripod/truss system and left it sitting, empty, for three days. I could already see a sag at the center connection point. After three days, I decided to put some of my moving head lights on it (4 Lixada RGB LED Wash Lights, and 3 Tomshine Beam lights - both available on Amazon). As soon as the first light went on, the sag increased tenfold. By the time I had all 7 lights on the ten foot truss (7 lights totaling approximately 56 pounds - on a system that said it can handle up to 160 pounds)' I didn't feel comfortable leaving them on there for more than 30 minutes...and that was without using the lights (I was afraid the torque of the moving heads would cause a greater problem). My decision was to mount stationary lights on the truss, and keep my moving heads on the tripod T-bars. Unfortunately, I still need some type of truss to span the front of my stage so I can put lights on them. I'm already researching triangular and square truss work instead. ... show more

This is a decent, lightweight truss that gets the job done. For the local southern rock band I work with this rig is great. I think it would hold up well enough for what I’m using it for, gut if you’re a serious traveling band, I think you might want something a little more substantial. I do like it, but took off one star because the hardware on the fittings is cheaply made and falls apart. ... show more

    • Good uprights but the clamps do not tighten down enough.
The stands seem decent but clamps absolutely do not tighten down enough. This causes the 10' truss to sag in the middle. It also means you can't put anything on the T bars unless they are hanging from the bottom of those bars and moving it while assembled could result in everything coming apart. I recommend attaching a long ratchet strap to each upright and pulling them together, squeezing the truss section between. This is a potential safety issue if in an area where people can bump into or trip over the legs. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this product!!! Its going to be a great addition to my dj business. The only complaint I have is how the box was all tore up when it arrived. I know this was not Harmonys fault. It was the carriers fault.

    • Bars are too thin for O-clamps
Washers continuously falls off, bars are too thin for the standard o-clamp, can't hang my lights as I desired. Should of went with a different brand
