I purchased these for a holiday trip to snow that didn't materialize, no problem! The first week of January was cold and rainy off and on, so I wore them to a theme park to keep my feet warm and dry (if needed.) I wore socks underneath and these boots kept my feet cozy and warm all day, and are VERY comfortable! I'm susceptible to cold feet which leads to me feeling cold all over, these 100% kept that from happening. One zipper was a little hard to zip up, (probably because I was afraid to force it,) but did finally zip. And the traction is awesome!! I had checked the soles out online before purchasing because as a senior citizen I don't want to slip on wet surfaces, and even showed them to a friend who lives where it snows every winter and she said they looked like they'd be very good at preventing slips. The last requirement I had was being affordable, and they absolutely were. So warmth, comfort, safety and good pricing are all covered, plus they look cute on, so 5 stars it is!! I highly recommend trying these for yourself or even to give as a gift.

Boots are okay. You can't wear thick leggings or pants cuz zipper won't go higher to zip all the way cuz if your pants. It's comfortable and warm though. I sized half up to 7.5 and it has a lot of foot space. I think I should have just stayed at my regular size 7. I am keeping it though. Maybe the zipper can be located inside ankle in middle not outside at an angle. Just a suggestion for next time. No weird smell. It has traction and looks great.
