Well made, comfortable, and good tread/traction for most surfaces.
This pair of waterproof hiking boots are quality made of faux leather on the upper part. The sole is made of solid, but lightweight rubber that provides a firm foothold on most surfaces. They have a comfortable insole and a decent arch support in them as well. The ankle high upper gives good support for the ankles when walking on rugged ground. The dark brown color looks rich, like coffee beans. They are a good, solid boot fit for everyday wear or active nature hikes. I ordered them in a size 9. They are a gift for my cousin. He tried them on as soon as I gave them to him. He thought they looked small at first, but when he tried them on he said they fit perfectly with about 3/4 of an inch for toe room at the tip of the shoes. He likes them quite well and said they are super comfy on his feet. He does have slightly wide feet, and his shoe size is a 9 wide or regular width. He said the width was good with this pair of boots and had just enough extra so he did not feel too snug on the sides of his feet. I'm a fan of Harence footwear and have always been happy with what I order from this brand. This pair of hiking boots continued in the good quality for an affordable price, that they produce. I highly recommend them for quality and comfort. The sizes have always been true to size. I would say they are a great value.

Comfortable hiking boots!

These men’s waterproof hiking boots by Harence are ideal for outdoor hiking. Key features are: good ankle support, good grip, and lightweight. These hiking boots provide mid ankle support with a collar and heel support to stabilize your feet on uneven terrain. The rugged sole provides excellent traction and helps prevent slipping. And most importantly, the hiking boots are both comfortable and lightweight when you put them on. Because they are waterproof, they’re ideal for hiking, climbing, backpacking, and camping. I normally wear size 9 but I ordered these hiking boots in size 9.5 (a half size larger) to accommodate thicker wool socks for hiking. They fit perfectly with the wool socks. I have worn these hiking boots on day hikes and backpacking. They provide excellent grip and traction on a variety of surfaces such as grass, gravel, dirt, and loose stones. They are comfortable to wear all day. Delivery was fast and efficient. They come packaged in a sealed plastic bag and they’re ready to wear!
