Relatively lightweight wire, cut very easily with wire cutters. I built a chicken tractor frame from 2x4 and tacked this cloth onto it with an air stapler. The staples sometimes cut right through the wire, but it's galvanized and has held up to multiple rainstorms with no problems. It keeps dogs, skunks, rodents and birds of prey out of my coop, and I also used a roll to wrap my fruit trees and make root baskets. There's plenty on one roll to get a lot of work done.

This is a great size and strength of wire mesh to prevent things from getting into my garden beds. Easy to cut with a decent pair of snips and bends fairly well. It's underground, so I won't know for a few years if it'll rust out or not, but it should be fine.
