This one was the cheapest and it seems to be genuine, but it does leave a bad taste in your mouth getting a premium German product that is missing pieces. They take out the larger cup, so there's just an empty spot where it would normally sit. And the 2mL cup that comes with it, they take the cap from it as well! I would recommend springing for the extra 50 bucks or so and get the complete package with the additional nozzle size and the other cup size. You've already decided to go for more premium airbrush at this level, so don't skimp out. ... show more

I am an intermediate user of airbrushes and have only recently decided to invest in a few higher end guns than the ones I have been working with prior- so far I have purchased three, including the Evolution, and have taken them all for brief test drives. After a quick breakdown for oiling and inspection, I was practically blown away by the degree and absolute beauty of the Evolution's components. I should have started by saying, out of the other five airbrushes that comprise my present collection of guns, the external appearance of the Evolution is unique, almost space-aged in it's design. Looks more like a science fiction phaser pistol! I am still getting my bearings operating airbrushes in general and I wasn't able to quite get the knack for pencil thin lines with this unit as I was with one of the other brands I have recently added to the collection of tools but it was quite easy to control and the trigger is by far the most responsive. I've heard great things about these airbrushed and decided to give it a go. Super glad that I did. Although since the needle size is smaller at .2 you have to thin your paint abit more or you'll have clogging issues. Something to be aware of but excellent tool that is very precise.

I own three airbrushes. An Iwata Eclipse, A cheap Chinese One and this. By far it is better than the two previous ones because of the smoothness of the trigger control. Although I wished I should have ordered the two-in-one so I can have the 5ml cup and the .4 needle. This one will do for now until I outgrow it. I am really happy with this one. ... show more

The airbrush was in pieces when I opened the box, it also had a broken trigger (for lack of a better term) For the price I would expect it to work out of the box
