The selection of sanding drums and mandrels that I received are medium sized, and I was happy to see that these are a perfect size that sits between the two most common sanding drum sizes that one finds for Dremel or other rotary tools. For my smaller projects, this intermediate option is welcome for objects that need something less than the standard 1/2" size, but a bit larger than the smallest drum size. I've included pictures for reference. The mandrels and bands both function perfectly well. They work on wood, light metal, plastic, and even cured epoxy. For lighter use on plastics, I found that they do quite well in my Dremel Stylo, which gives me excellent control for close work. I am pleased that unlike some varieties of sanding bands I have tried, these do not come apart after a short period of use, or loosen on the mandrel and try to come off the end. These are good quality. Folks purchasing the size medium set should be aware that these drums will not fit any existing mandrels they might have, unless they have previously purchased a set with these proportions. Similarly, they will not be able to use these mandrels with standard sized drums that they may already have. I am quite happy with these and I shall likely purchase more when my supply runs out. ... show more

A good value. Needed a number of sanding drums for a small project. This product came with multiple drums and mounts to allow a fast transition when doing a large number of items. The sanding drums seemed to wear reasonably well, perhaps a bit faster than premium brands but certainly durable enough for the project at hand. As with the product sold by Dre*** these were easily assembles and changeout of the drums was easy. Fit and function were identical to name brand products. ... show more

This set comes with 3 sanding drums, a wrench and 60 medium 120 grit sanding wheels. I like that 3, 1/8” sanding drums were included as it’s always good to have spares incase one gets misplaced. These work well with my dremel. Of note to get the sanding wheel onto the drum you have to slide it on from the bottom, not over the top (the end with the screw). These sanding wheels work well when sanding wood (I’ve not tried to use them on other materials). I imaging they would work well on plastic too. The list price of $8.99 seems fair. ... show more

I use these for sanding some native wood walking sticks. These may be the perfect size for me, smaller than my drums I usually use and larger than some my smaller drums. They allow me to sand some narrower areas I couldn't easily reach before. They tighten well to the rubber stem and do not work loose. I have plenty of large and small sanding drums, but nothing in between, so I ordered these in the medium size. Although no sanding drum lasts forever, these are holding up reasonably well based on my experience, & should last me a good while. I’ll note that you receive 60 sanding sleeves, as well as the three 1/8 inch sanding drums, and the wrench to get them on & off (so actually 64 pieces total). I use sanding drums all the time and go through a lot of them. I use them for anything from sanding wood or plastic to grinding the dogs nails. These are made very well and last longer than expected when sanding. I just wish they had a few different grit sizes that it came with because they are all 120 grit. ... show more
