Will someone please tell me why plastic cases for tools, electronics, camera equipment, etc… costs so much? This case is actually priced better than some others I have. I think it’s still high but it’s significantly less expensive than my others. The overall quality isn’t as good but it’s definitely adequate for protecting the Milwaukee M12 Drill/Driver. I actually ordered it to protect a new multimeter I recently bought. A simple change of foam and it’s perfect. It’s a nice case. It has built in locks on the hasps which is nice. It’ll help prevent accidentally tripping the latch. The plastic isn’t as hard as most other cases which means it won’t be as strong but it is definitely strong enough. It won’t matter to most but I like that it’s red. I have several other cases for various tools and other equipment, all black. The red will stand out. I don’t think I’d take it swimming but I’m confident it will keep my meter dry walking or sitting in the rain. I’m also confident it will protect the meter if I drop it or it falls off the tailgate of my truck. I do recommend it.

This case is a really good fit for the installation driver, all its swappable heads, spare batteries, and the charger. One thing i really appreciate is that this case is thinner than something like a pelican case, so it takes up less space while still providing decent protection. It doesn't have quite as nice of a pressure relief valve on it, and no rubber gasket, but it stayed surprisingly sealed without it. Overall it's a great way to store the driver, and being milwaukee colored is a nice bonus, just gotta slap on a decal and there you go!
