Works great. Won't use it alot but when I do it will be super handy! The only downfall that it has is the short remote control!👎 how are you suppose to use an overhead crane and not be able to reach the controller?! I know why they did it that way is because some idiot didn't get out of the way and lifted something way to heavy and it came crashing down on him, got hurt and then sued! In turn the company had to make the short controller so that you wouldn't necessarily be directly under it so....I cut the controller cord directly in half with my giant bolt cutters and then took a simple four wire 16 gauge 20ft long and wired color for color reconnecting the controller making it 25ft long. It was simple.

The electrical box was broken when I received this. I was going to return it, but the seller contacted me to provide the part needing repair. Got the part in a timely manner. However there were no instructions for install. I was able to figure out how to do it, disconnecting and reconnecting wiring. Got it done and the lift works great.

Wish it had wireless remote 14 foot cord just isn’t long enough it should at least have 25 foot it’s hard to get out of the way at 14 ft

I rarely leave reviews, but I think this is a matter of safety. These load ratings are incorrect and misleading. They put the load rating if you use the pulley system which I think most people would overlook since it isn't even the default setup on the hoist when you purchase it. Even at half the load rating, the motor isn't strong enough to lift the load. I have a 650 lb compressor that I needed to lift, and it says it's rated at 880 lbs (without the pulley setup) and the motor bogged down and wouldn't lift. I get that this is super cheap and you get what you pay for, but I hope nobody gets hurt using this. Not to mention the power cord and operation pendant are so short that you cannot mount this to a ceiling that's very high.
