The media could not be loaded. The single, most HELPFUL product I encountered as a first time mom was this swaddle. My newborn has used it since day 1 at the clinic both at nights and naps, and IT HAS PROLONGED HER SLEEP. We’ve also used it to soothe her, with amazing results. It’s magical!!! I’ve gifted it to friends and family and all parents have been super thankful and happy. PROS: - MORE SLEEP! Total. Game. Changer. My baby slept longer stretches of time with the swaddle on vs. without. And this was the only swaddle that did the trick. We tried dozens! But baby always managed to get the arms out and wake up. This one holds their arms perfectly (thanks to the inner bands with Velcro) and provides the security and soothing that this thousand year long tradition promotes - SO EASY TO USE: it’s so practical to just put velcros together and zip them. Others we tried were confusing, much like doing it with a blanket. My husband and I just aren’t that talented! - EXCELLENT QUALITY: Quality is amazing. Soft and breathable fabric, not to thick, not to light either, we’ve washed it repeatedly and still great for our second child! Same with the Velcro. Still in perfect shape after 4-5 months use - SMART DESIGN FOR EXTENDED USE: Unlike other competitor products, this one allows you to unsap the arm openings, so you can remove one or two arms when baby starts rolling (at around 4 months) and it’s not safe for them to be fully swaddled. So you can extend its use to 5-6 months - DON’T HAVE TO UNSWADDLE FOR DIAPER CHANGE. Two way-zipper has come in super handy when a diaper change was needed in the middle of the night. And a nice detail: the zipper is covered at the end so it doesn’t make contact with baby’s chin. They’ve really thought of everything! CONS: I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this swaddle BOTTOM LINE: Buy this swaddle for your newborn! You won’t regret it. In fact, buy more than one.

As a first time mom, trying to swaddle with a blanket was an absolute nightmare, my husband and I just couldn't figure it out and baby kept wiggling out of the blanket. We bought several different types of swaddle sacks, but the sleepea is hands down the best swaddle we have tried. I am going to put the review I wish I found when looking for a swaddle: 1. Material: Very light weight and soft. We live in Florida and baby boy was born right in the middle of summer, so we were also worried about him being too hot, but the mesh venting helps keep him cool and makes us feel so at ease. We have not had any skin irritation issues with this swaddle at all. 2. Velcro: the Velcro portion that swaddles the baby is amazing and such a genius concept. It makes it ease to get baby in the swaddle snug and at a comfort level that they like. The Velcro is also very quiet compared to other types of Velcro. It does still make noise, so don't be fold thinking it's noiseless. 3. Fit: The other swaddle sacks have so much fabric and bunched up near his face, which made me so nervous. The Sleepea is designed so well that it does not bunch up near the babies face and fits them very well. I noticed on other swaddles the zippers hit under their chin or rub against their neck, but there is a little zipper garage (lol not sure what it called) that covers the zipper, so it doesn't touch their face. 4. Usability: It really lives up to the name "5-second swaddle", it is that quick and east to get your baby into the swaddle. Our baby does occasionally get his arm out of the swaddle (he is a little Houdini), but the design keeps his hand in the sack still, but we do at times find his fingers poking out of the top (he is 3 months old, so he wants his fingers in his mouth constantly). But, it's not that much of an issue, and it doesn't seem to bother him. I also love that we can continue using the swaddle with his arms out when he starts rolling as there are little plastic buttons on the sides, so you can put their arms through. Overall, our baby boy absolutely loves it. We made the mistake of only buying 1 in the beginning and ended up buying 3 newborn sizes and 3 of the next size up. Our baby is now 3 months and uses this swaddle for every nap and at night. He loves it so much that when he is swaddled, he instantly calms down and falls asleep in a matter of minutes. If you are a first time parent (or even if you aren't) I cannot recommend this swaddle enough.

I tried so many swaddles this one is by far is the best swaddle I’ve ever used! I love the fact that you can strap their arms down in the inside of the zipper because my son is an escape artist! It’s worth the price! The minute I put my baby in it he calms down and goes straight to sleep. The size I got was medium and my baby is 12 pounds. Fits him perfect. The pattern is super cute.! love the netting in case my baby gets too hot.

This is overall a good product-- when baby inevitably ends up getting hands out of the wrap they are still encased inside the zipped swaddle, which still helps with the startle reflex-- but the fact that part of the design requires a piece of fabric to go between baby's legs means that you have to dress him in a onesie, little infant nightgowns aren't an option.

I cannot say enough good things about the Happiest Baby 5-Second Swaddle! As a new parent, sleep is like gold—and this swaddle gave us our sanity back. It truly lives up to its name. Wrapping our newborn takes literally five seconds (no exaggeration), and once he's in, he instantly relaxes. The design is brilliant—snug but breathable, and the inner flaps help keep even our little escape artist feeling secure all night. It mimics the womb perfectly, which is probably why our baby sleeps longer and cries less when swaddled in this. We’ve tried a few other swaddles, but this one blows them all out of the water in terms of ease of use and effectiveness. Bonus points for being super soft and easy to wash. We ended up buying a second one so we’re never without it during laundry day. If you're on the fence, get it. Total lifesaver!
