Purchased for a 4th grader. The directions were but too clear and it was a little trial and error. The clay is very hard and they needed help working it correctly. We ended up running out of clay before we were had finished but that may be on us-we made a couple extra small medallions in case any broke after baking. It was a couple hours worth of fun. Three children made the wind chime. Longer string would help to make larger knots. One bead fell off before a hail storm, but the rest survived a strong wind. It’s pretty and sparkles.

The media could not be loaded. Adorable…BUT I think we only received half the instructions! Is there a drying process? We just winged it my daughter & I,so this is our result (: **UPDATE** Sooo my 9 year old found on the wrapper of the clay packets that you put them in the oven at 275 degrees for about 15-20 min!! My daughter was thrilled to get it. We went to put it together and found we were missing the hanging ring. Which would have been no big deal, but then we only had half the directions so have no idea if it is air clay or needs to be baked. She is 11 and was not able to flatten or roll that clay. She had fun messing with it but I am bummed she won't be able to hang it as a reminder of our time together. ... show more

We loved putting this together as a family. My kids, ages 4 and 6, enjoyed rolling out the clay. Instructions were clear. All the tools we needed were provided. The end product was beautiful and didn't look like a kids' craft project. It looks fantastic in my garden.
