I really do like this product however... The dominos are not the same size as the other Hape domino sets. This is very irritating as now we have 2 different sets of sizes of dominos! Ahhh. Also the size of the "minecart" is too big to go through the platform gates. This means the cart can only move down one plastic straight before it stops. The momentum of the cart is not enough to push the marble out of the cart when it stops at the platform. Well, it's got like a 50% success rate. The last bit is that it feels that the dominos used are too light weight to properly trigger the action pieces. Most of the time the action pieces are left untriggered or even the opposite is true where the action pieces do not have enough momentum to trip the domino. Anyways, I give it three stars because I do like the set overall, I am just very disappointed that the dominos are not a uniform size between sets. This is a great gift for STEAM and creative kids. My 6 yo son loves building courses. I like that some of the additional pieces add extra complexity and fun. Three weeks later and he’s still playing with it daily

It came on it's own box. Not inside of another one. And the box came damaged and a little opened. I was afraid of missing some parts but has all of it.

Bought this for my son's 6th Birthday. He opened it Friday and we started playing with it last night. We love the concept, but agree with another reviewer that there are a lot of issues with quality and design of the implements. We one of them was shipped damaged, clearly a manufacturer defect that renders the piece useless due to need for balance and aligned operation of the piece. If I could return just that one I would, I just don't want to box up the whole set to send back... ... show more

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter's birthday. She's always enjoyed domino tipping, so I was excited about this product and the added steps of the marbles/ramps/etc. She initially thought it was a little kid toy because the pictures on the box featured pretty little/young kids and the age recommendation said 4+; however, when she actually unpacked it, she realized it wasn't a kiddie toy. She's really had a lot of fun setting it up and figuring out how to use the various parts. It's high quality and most parts are wooden. The domino pieces themselves are big enough to set upright easily without tipping them over. The plastic items are thick and sturdy. I am absolutely pleased with the product. ... show more
