Perfect chunky wood pieces for little hands to learn fine motor skills! Adorable idea to burn into the hungry caterpillar instead of just string beads on. Love that the pieces at the end of rope are thicker for hands to hold. As I know other brands give shoe lace and it still can be hard for toddlers to thread through and get easy frustrating. The wooden fruits are well painted and attractive, sometimes they are used as play fruit for teddies and dolls. These are a good size for 18 month old to string, sometimes with help holding the caterpillar. This toy is chosen again and again. The strings are long enough that all fruits can go on and be carried around (which is fun?). I wasn't sure what the red fruit with green spikes was supposed to be, so we have decided it's a dragon fruit. This toy has been well worth the price! ... show more

My little ones love caterpillar book. This playset is perfect to go with the book. Only concern is some parts are a bit small, so need to be with your kids to avoid choking.

My child loves this toy! At first, I was a little nervous that it might be too developmentally advanced, but it was actually perfect for helping start working on fine motor lacing skills because of the various sizes of the holes in the foods. I’m very impressed with the high quality and durability.
