While part of the reason these shelves didn’t work for me is because we live in an apartment where the paint has been layered on our walls super thick, I wanted to leave a review to warn against them if you’re a renter or aren’t handy with tools — I followed the instructions to a T and the drywall anchors completely warped the paint on our walls, causing it to come off the wall in big chunks, then one of the drywall anchors became so twisted during installation that it split in half, leaving half of the bottom of the anchor embedded in our wall. Needless to say, opted to return these shelves and had to re-plaster and repaint our walls where the mess happened. This is one of those instances where purchasing the budget-friendly option did not work out for me at all. :( I think if the paint on our walls had not been so thick, it might have gone better so not giving it a straight up one star review, but it was still not great.

Unless you intend to screw these into the wall I would purchase something a bit lighter to command strip to the wall. I made the mistake of thinking these would be light enough to use as shelves in my apartment. They are cute tho so I will be saving for later.

These shelves work perfectly for what I needed them for. They are very sturdy and even came with a mini level. They were the easiest things I've ever put up. I love them.

The “wall anchors” they provided are garbage and will not just screw in using a screw driver by hand. I tried Pre-drilling a bit of the hole to help but then the “anchor” would just start stripping the hole and lifting the paint on the wall. I was able to use just semi long nails hammered at a steep angle and does the trick to hook onto the shelf’s. Definitely do not recommend putting anything heavier than a pound or will start to drag down nails

Obviously cheaply made and poor quality but they work for holding lightweight items (I'm using them to hold my makeup items.) Definitely not strong enough to hold heaver items. Better to use your own wall anchors though than the crappy ones they include. But, what can you expect for $9. It's fine.

This product is great but the anchors they include fall apart when you’re putting them in the wall. I just ditched the anchors and put the shelves up with screws. I just plan to put light succulents on them so I’m not worried about it holding.
