Description

From manufacturer Scopemeters meet their specs Just like many other scopes on a hobbyist budget, Hantek scopemeter offers basic features: 2 channels250MSa/s sampling rateAUTO measurement & poweroffType C interface for data transfer2.8" HD LCD screen However, its core hardware meets the specs. Besides, Hantek scopemeter comes with: replaceable 18650 battery set that recharges fully in 2 hrs, runs for a whole day and stands by over 2 months,a carry case and an adjustable prop for occassional field work or remote site repair. Compared with a bench DSO, its portability is superb in car stereo installs/repairs, truck ignition issues, and quick checks on benches because you don't have to wait for it to boot like you do for a DSO. Anyway, Hantek scopemeter can't beat bench scope in memory depth, triggering, signal stability, AUTO measurements, serial decoding, screen size, and especially interface. Speaking of interface, most scopemeters get many menu diving and button presses to complete common tasks, hence the need to look up user manual. Benchtop scopes generally have similar interfaces to each other so once you learn on you can mostly drive others. If performance and learning curve are critical to you, just consider a DSO such ar Hantek's DSO2000. Refer to the Standard Comparison Chart for more of Hantek's testing equipment. • Basic 3.5 digit scope/meter/AWG, great value for the price, fast shipping, fast response from seller
Style: 40mhz scopemeter with AWG
What I liked: Seller shipped quickly and quickly resolved a minor issue with power adapter. All three functions: Scope, DMM, and AWG appear to work as expected at this price point. I am pleased with the unit for a quick, hand-held multi-function tool at a low price seems OK. If you are a student or giving it to a young person it seems like a great choice. I did test the DMM against my precision resistor decade box (0.1%) and the meter appeared to be OK. Don't expect it to be a Fluke or Keithley meter it isn't going to match their specs and same for scope and AWG. Overall not a professional tool but great cost-value tool. Not so great: - DMM kept dimming after 30 seconds, found the display timer in scope menu which fixed issue. - Shipped with Euro power adapter instead of US adapter, quickly resolved by Seller :) - Update rate on DMM is a bit slower than I am use to. - Scope GUI is a bit clunky compared to a regular scope but seems an acceptable tradeoff for size. - There are what appears to be some sampling tears (perhaps related to slower sampling rate not sure). For the price I don't see any of the above as an issue. - Scope probe is definitely super cheap but it works OK and appears to mostly calibrate (screw on probe base and it includes adjustment tool). - AWG is definitely appears pushed to the Nyquist limit but seems OK at the price point. ... show more

  • You get a lot for the price!!!
Style: 40mhz scopemeter with AWG
I purchased the 40MHz w/ AWG. This works extremely well for the purposes I bought it for. That was a simple inexpensive handheld oscilloscope. Also having a portable AWG has proved invaluable! All in all very happy with it!!! The DMM is a bit lacking but in specs and accuracy at some AC voltages. But I didn’t buy it for that! ... show more

  • Worked as promised
Style: 40mhz scopemeter with AWG
There was no manual for the oscope. I was able to find manuals online. It is very important to know that the auto calibration must have no signal input. Without a manual, there is no way to find that out. I did find that sometimes the auto button would cause the display to go wacko. Usually pressing it a second time would resolve the sync problems. I did find with very slow frequency, the auto sync did not work very well. I'm talking about frequencies under 10 Hertz. ... show more

  • Everything was good but I received a 240 plug with no adapter for the US 120 plug.
Style: 70mhz scopemeter with AWG
Everything was good but I received a 240 plug with no adapter for the US 120 plug. I had to solder a cord with a 120 plug on it. Wasn't pretty but it works for now

  • 2D72 2 Channel Handheld Oscilloscope is perfect for lab and field use.
Style: 70mhz scopemeter with AWG
The scope provides enough bandwidth for testing and debugging our Mobipax MP Lightning Detectors. The ability to have the unit on-site or in the lab is very helpful. The scope has a separate trigger input and the scope's signal output (on the 'D' scopes) helps tracing circuits and testing siren speakers. Oh yeah, and it's a multimeter! Works well. Update after 3 months: The screen for the Hantek 2D72 is hard to see in Sunlight. When debugging outdoor lighting detectors, I could not see the timing (purple) text at all, which made it hard to set up a trigger, other text is dim. Otherwise the scope is still awesome. ... show more
