Hanke is punching above it's weight class with this offering. First, it is a very nice looking bag that you would be proud to be seen with. I selected the light blue and at first glance, it did not disappoint. I think you should, if you decide to check it, have no problem picking it out of the crowd, so good visibility. But the question is how does it work? Is it a show pony or a work horse? The zippers were solid and easily fit into a TSA approved lock system just in case you decided to check instead of carry on. next came the check for rolling, and this suitcase passed with flying colors. Now, this is important because a carry on needs to be able to roll with you going from one plane to your connection. Wheels rolled nearly effortlessly, so spot on. Next, how about organization of your goods inside? Two full size compatrments with tie down straps meant that this is a piece of gear designed to help you stay together. Further, it has two small zippers areas just in case you decide to put your identification or other documents inside of them as well. So, very good use of the space available. My verdict? This is a workhorse, certainly for the price point. I think you get your money's worth out of this entry from Hanke. I like it, I can see many good trips available with this piece of luggage gear. I've traveled for years with carry-on luggage and was intrigued when the Hanke Elite 20 suitcase was offered through Amazon Vine. When the suitcase arrived, I was impressed by its overall design, lightness and capacity, important points for a carry-on. I experimented with my usual travel gear and found the Hanke suitcase capacious enough to fit everything while also supplying ample protection for fragile items, including electronics and toiletries. My only caveats concern the wheels and zippers which work well but are more lightly built than my other bags. That concerns me a bit but the suitcase's other qualities earn a pass for the time being. This carry-on suitcase is beautiful, strong, and sturdy and has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a premium piece of luggage. The 360 degree wheels are so smooth and I love that I don't have to lean the luggage back to move it around. The TSA locking mechanism works perfect and helps to keep my belongings safe and secure. The thing I was worried most about was the luggage handle, as many of the suitcases I've had in the past all had cheap handles that break or are impossibly hard to pull up and push down. This handle is aluminum, like most other suitcases, but so far the handle is smooth and easy to maneuver. The size of the suitcase is perfect and even though it's a carry-on, I'm able to fit 4 days worth of clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, all my toiletries, laptop, and several chargers. The case is solid and doesn't bend in when pressure is applied. I'm very happy with this luggage and plan to buy more of the other sizes to match with it! ... show more

I've used this suitcase twice now. The best part for me is the multidirectional wheels. It's convenient (and fun) being able to move the suitcase in all directions so smoothly and easily. The extendable handle is a good length for me to pull the suitcase, but I'm not very tall. It would be a stretch for someone taller than average. The shell is medium hardness which means that it does bend and indent with force and weight. So keep this in mind if you decide to check it instead of carrying it on. The interior is wider and more spacious than typical carryon bags and this is a big plus. I was worried that it was too wide to fit in an overhead, but it's airline approved and it does fit in the overhead. The extra width allows you to pack a little more and still not have to check your suitcase. I love the color of this suitcase. It is true to the image shown. The wheels turn smoothly, and the zippers word smoothly. All the technical parts of this suitcase work the way they are meant to. I haven't had it long, but it should hold up to regular use without an issue. It is fairly lightweight for a hard shell suitcase. It holds a good amount of items, and I like the way the interior is laid out. I don't travel often, so I can't say for sure, but the internal lock versus one that clips onto the case seems like a good thing. It holds the zipper ends in the locking mechanism so the zipper can't be messed with, and even though all the instructions are not in English, there is a description on how to set the locking mechanism on the description and it is easy to do. As long as everything continues working as it is designed to do, this is a great suitcase for the price. ... show more

This is such a nice carry-on suitcase, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and overall construction. It feels much more expensive than it is and has a very polished, high-end look. I almost always try to travel with carry-on luggage only, so having a suitcase that maximizes space efficiently is really important to me. The interior is very thoughtfully designed with multiple compartments and organizational sections that make packing much easier and more efficient. The locking feature is another huge plus. I’ve never owned luggage with a built-in TSA lock before, and I really like the added security and convenience of the combination lock system. The handle extends and retracts very smoothly, and the four spinner wheels glide effortlessly. I especially love the swivel wheel design because it makes navigating airports and tight spaces so much easier compared to traditional two-wheel luggage. The ivory hard shell color is also beautiful and gives the suitcase a clean, upscale appearance. I am the only one in our family of 4 who doesn’t have a decent roll bag. I am thrilled to have this little cutie!! The blue is such a pretty color and looks so nice. It’s super soft to the touch and crazy light weight. It rolls like magic and the handle glides like silk. Can you tell so far I think it’s dreamy? It’s silly I know but I have been using a dumpy old bag from the early 90’s while everyone else has upgraded before Mom. This is like such a huge difference. It’s a perfect carry on size with zippered interior. Love the outside zipper locks. Seems very well made, I don’t see any issues. Highly recommend. ... show more
