    • Definitely smelling the essential oils - vetiver?
Scent: Spicy Wooded III
This is aptly described as "spicy wooded". I can't put my finger on which essential oils but I'm thinking Vetiver, some Copaiba with maybe a little Tea Tree? That's why it's so oily. And in all honesty, oily colognes are supposed to be the best because they last - oil-based versus water-based. And this certainly does last. So much so, I had a hard time getting rid of the smell. I opened the box and it was on my hands - my hands smelled like that all day no matter how many times I washed them. It claims to have pheromones - if it does, I don't think it worked for me. But at the same time, when you talk to cologne salespeople, they tell you - different smells appeal to different people. I asked one of these salespeople how to pick a cologne for my husband and her response was "When you smell the right one, you'll know ;) ". (emphasis on the wink) This is actually a great price for an essential oil blend - and for the amount you get. Let me know if you feel less stressed and more focused.... ... show more

I ended up not liking it for use as a cologne but as room spray it's fantastic. I spray a couple of sprays in the office and it smells heavenly for several days. This had more hype than what its scent is. It had no superpowers nor did it make me want to tackle my husband because I scented him. It was a masculine scent, but my husband prefers his usual cologne. It’s supposed to react with pheromones but it didn’t change nor did his scent seduce passersby’s.

Scent is fine--it's a citrus/woodsy in that order for me. My issue is this product is oily, It reminds me of spray-on suntan oil. I definitely had to rub mine in around my neck area and hands still had modest oily coating on them 10 mins later. I have used 15-20 different spray colognes in my life and none were EVER this oily. I found the scent of this cologne reasonably pleasant and attractive, but fragrances react differently with each individual's body chemistry--so they can produce a somewhat different aroma on each person. Similarly, each person responds differently to a given scent, so some of the people you're trying to attract with your cologne may like it, while others may not. In my personal experience, three of the four women I asked liked this cologne on me, so that's not a bad ratio... ... show more

    • love the scent, do not agree with the superpower claims
I love the scent and I think it's a nice scent and that's all that should matter. Any claims of pheromones giving superpowers are funny and should be taken as a joke. Would be 5 star at the price but knocking down 1 because of the superpower claims.
