The shelves arrived a few days ago, and it was exactly as I expected it to be. They're quite lightweight, and the color of the wood looks very warm, and elegant. I have a snake plant in a ceramic pot that weights around 6lbs, and while the shelf was able to take the weight of the pot, I wasn't confident that it could sustain the weight so added an artificial plant, and a smaller pothos in a plastic pot to the shelves for now. The shelves are very affordable, and add a great accent to any room. I would also like to mention that I bought "Used- very good" condition product for the first time, and was slightly apprehensive about the quality. After taking them out of the packaging, they were exactly as described- in perfect condition with no wear or tear. Buying used products that are in very good condition is a great way to save your money, and conserve resources. ... show more

i searched through many options for shelves like this and i was worried this one looked almost “too easy/simple” but im so glad i chose these! the installation is fast, just screw in a hook and hang them up. i added command strips on the back of the shelves thats leaning against the wall just for extra stability and my own preference, but it is not a necessity. absolutely transformed my wall. buy it! ... show more

I absolutely love the look of these, but I would advise against using them for functional storage that you’ll be regularly accessing. I originally bought them to store toilet paper, and the lightweight nature can lead to some rocking when touched when one shelf is strung directly from another. If you use the set of two for anything you’ll regularly be grabbing, I recommend mounting each shelf separately into the wall rather than having one hanging from the other. ... show more

    • Good shelves, lacking hardware
I love the look of the shelves and I'm super excited for them, but the cup hooks they come with have such short screws that they cannot hold the shelves up with nothing on them. I'm having to spackle and repaint and buy different hardware, which is a bit frustrating.
