I LOVE these shorts! Extremely comfortable, stretchy fabric... Fit me perfectly. I normally wear denim shorts, have forever, but these have made me re-think my wardrobe! Since denim shorts have become so expensive, the little thrifty lady who lives in my mind loves the price & convinced me try them.. I originally bought these for cleaning, yard work, etc where I might stain up my denim shorts, but after wearing these, I've decided to buy many pairs for everyday shorts! They'd actually be fine for running errands, too! They're sharp looking shorts! The thick waistband, sits right at my waist, not necessarily in style, but I love it! I'm an older lady & still like my shorts/jeans, etc to sit at my waistline. I rarely tuck my shirts in anymore, but a tucked in shirt would look nice with the thick waistband. No puckering around the elastic give these shorts a nice look, no need to hide it. Long story short, I love these and will buy lots more and will wear them almost daily!! Lots of colors available, too! The picture of the model shows the shorts to fit right at the knee, but they're shorter than that on me. I'm long legged & they fit just right, at mid-thigh. The inseam length is 7", perfect for us "mature" ladies... (To help you with sizing... I'm 5'7" tall & I'm a bit over weight, weighing in at 200. I'm carrying most of my extra pounds in my waist and butt. UGH! Can't believe I'm saying all this, lol, but hate it when reviews don't tell you what you need to know, so I'll be honest... I bought mine in 1X and they fit me PERFECTLY!! Just buy according to the size chart, or your normal size & you'll be fine! The material is very stretchy & forgiving) Hope this review helps you make your choice. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with these shorts! Go ahead & buy them! Treat yourself to several!

I ordered these in navy and the darker grey. I plan to order black as well I like them so much. I wanted comfortable summer shorts for playing at the park with my son, riding our bikes and camping. I also needed them to be very affordable and be long enough to prevent the dreaded thigh burn. These are perfect. The fabric is thin enough to be fairly cool but just thick enough to cover everything under them. The length is a bit shorter on me than on the model, but long enough to prevent chaffing on the thighs. By the way, I am 5'7", 195 lbs, and I normally wear a 16W. I ordered a 1X and the fit is great. I do not put my clothes in the dryer so I cannot say if they shrink in the dryer. These are comfortable enough to sleep in and be able to make decently covered trips to the bathroom on the campgrounds or take out the trash at home without shocking the neighbors. I will not win any fashion awards in these shorts, but I sure will have fun!

These shorts come in a couple different colors and are very comfortable overall. They do run a tad snug, and I wish I would have sized up, but I decided to keep them rather than send them back. They still work fine, just a bit tighter than expected. Overall, a good pair of shorts, just consider sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.

I have been wearing these shorts for over 10 years. They are so well made, comfortable, more than reasonably priced, and they last and last and last. Quality is 100%. Now, I don't know what happened, but I have been ordering these shorts in a size 3X. There was a note on the listing from Amazon that said my recommended size for these shorts was a 3X, so I ordered the 3X. My gosh, 2 people could have fit into these shorts they were so big! I returned them and reordered them in a 2X and hope they fit. I don't know if Hanes has changed their size chart or if these were just a fluke but still, since I love them so much, I think they are worth a 5* reviews.

These shorts are comfortable and fit and length are great. I have 4 Heather gray because they are cotton/ polyester blend and wash without shrinkage. The black and navy are 100% cotton and they do have shrinkage after washing. You might want to size up on those two colors.

I love these shorts. Ther are very comfortable. I purchased 2 sizes a 2X and a 3X. I am 5'4" and weigh 246, so I'm a big girl. The 2X pair fit, but they were snugger than I like. The 3X were roomier. Those are the ones I kept. So I think they run small. The site recommended I buy the 2X. The fabric is silky and soft to the touch. I like the wide elastic waistband. No bothering with buttons and zippers. The pockets are shallow though, that I don't like. You will have a hard time putting your cell phone in them. I wish they came in more colors though. Overall, they are GREAT shorts. I'd buy them again.
