I recently picked up Hanes cotton shorts for women, and they’ve been pretty impressive. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and it breathes well, which is great for hot days. They fit true to size and have just the right amount of stretch. Plus, the colors is nice. After a few washes, they still look good and haven’t lost their shape. Overall, they’re a solid, affordable option for casual wear. They are a very versatile addition to my home wear.

I bought these last week and they were $10.50 today I see the price has gone up to $14.99. Wishing I would have gotten a few more pairs because I love these shorts. The pockets are deep enough for keys, phone. The stitching is even and well made. The elasticity is great and they also have an adjustable draw string which is thick and does not slip back inside the waistband. The style is casual but can be paired well with a fancier top for work. These are thick and not transparent but so thick that are hot to wear. My only wish was that the inseam was an inch or two longer but that's a personal preference. Overall I gave these shorts 5 stars and if you can get them on sale for $10.50 like I did I would definitely give them a try. The fabric is soft and feels comfortable on my skin they do not bunch up or ride up.

So like a lot of other reviews, I got the black and the dark gray. I would absolutely say they are true to size as a normally in pants now get a large and they are the perfect comfort large - but definitely not too large. The black are 100% cotton and the gray are a cotton poly blend. Hands-down, I like the dark gray short the best! Unlike some of the other reviews, both of mine came, the exact same size and the exact same length, but little bit shorter than I was expecting from the pictures. They were both also a little stiff as others have mentioned before washing. I washed them both right away and the dark gray stayed really nice looking and the cotton black, to me, looks like sloppy shorts that are also magnetic to every cat hair I have lol. As a person that wears almost all black, they’re definitely my least favorite and I am going to wear them for sleeping in because 100% cotton is good for that. I ordered two more of the dark gray just because I like them so much and it’s a good price. They stay nice looking and wash very well. They do have pockets that are fairly deep however my (largest) iPhone has one corner that sticks out, but not enough for it to fall out of the pocket. At first, I thought I would not like the wide waistband, but I actually really like it . Super comfortable! Loose enough to not be tight on your waist, but not loose enough by any means to fall off. You can tuck your hand in there if you want it’s just the perfect amount of comfort! Not sure why just the dark gray is the Cotton poly blend, but as I said by far my favorite as far as looks and wearability. Ordered two more of the dark gray blend and again one of the cotton (light gray) for sleeping in. I don’t feel like the black cotton could look nice enough to wear out and other than sleeping, yard work etc. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the 100% cotton

These ARE NOT cotton!! I hate when things are falsely represented! The style and pattern are okay but run small. Won't be buying these again, still trying to decide whether to return them, give them away, or trash them. So aggravated. Reveiw Revision** Upon futher examination I found that these are 100% cotton. They felt like a blend bc they had a sheen, I guess it was sizing that made them look that way. I washed these and the slick looking sheen disappeared and I see the cotton now. They are fairly thin, not heavy, which adds to the coolness and breathability of this fabric. I decided I really liked them and ordered a 2nd pair. The gray ones do have a polyester blend, but I'm expecting that. These are actually really comfortable and I love the thick elastic, very comfortable. My apologies to this company for my quick reaction and response to the feel of the fabric and any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for an affordable and practical set of shorts.

I have loved and practically lived in size L in these shorts in all colors during warm weather for the past 10 years through present. They are so comfortable and lightweight, but not see-through. They are a nice length, and they have pockets! I purchased these in the same size L, but I could tell as soon as I removed this pair from the packaging that they were way too small. I could barely get them on, and they were terribly tight in all directions. So, I returned them for a refund, as I have no idea what size to order now. I wish I knew whether this one pair was simply mis-sized, or if Hanes has now permanently changed their sizing across this style or their entire brand. Guess I'll try ordering again sometime.

Cool, comfortable, and flexible...these shorts are wonderful for casual wear and doing exercise routines without the clinginess of yoga pants. The waistband can be adjusted to waist size. And you can pick any color to go with an outfit. And the pockets are deep!! My phone actually fits in it! Warning though: if your thighs are a bit on the thick side like mine, they may ride up a bit.
