Thinner fabric than expected, but, very pleased, makes more comfortable. Dark blue, M, very nice waistband. Sorry, can't have pic of wearing them or share my measurements, I know can sometimes be helpful other times not as can have similar measurements but different body shape, but did measure shorts in pics. 5' 3.5", wt varies 105-120#, hesitant to buy new clothes w/o ability to try on, + confusion from reviews, but, needed & priced right, can donate if not ok as I need to wash first & don't think able to return for refund if washed, am very happy I chose to buy. May want to tie larger knots on ends of string or add your own preferred item like button, soft fabric ball, etc., to help prevent what usually happens to me for some reason, I lose an end of the string in the waistband. Great for wearing with t-shirt for sleep, no need to buy spendy pj sets, or be concerned with length of t-shirt as also wear around house, yard, if ever at beach or camping. It's me who no longer feels ok wearing above knee anything in public. Was given very nice long winter nightgown, & these are just right to wear underneath as long nightgowns tend to move too much too often causing discomfort. As the review asked, I definitely wouldn't call these shorts "flattering" but that's not why I bought them. After reading reviews, I chose a size Large, but after receiving them, I definitely could've sized down to a medium (5'4", 155 lbs for reference). They don't seem all that stretchy, but the drawstring solves them being just a bit too big. They will be perfect for exercise or mowing the lawn but certainly won't win any fashion contests. ... show more

I purchased these for my daughter. She wears them around the house & to sleep in. She says they are very comfy. Material is soft & not too thin. I’ve actually purchased these shorts three different times over the past year. They are well made and wash & dry nicely. And the price is very affordable.
