These are great! The fabric is very comfortable to wear in the summer. I bought size L, it feels a bit loose in the waist but rest of it is very comfy. Size M fitted me nicely in the waist but looked tight on the thighs (like cycling shorts) so I preferred the bigger size. I love the length of these pants. I have been wearing these Hanes shorts for years! They are comfy and the cotton keeps you cool in the summertime. Definitely one of my go-to’s when gardening, playing with my grandchildren or just hanging around the house. They are also very durable and last for years.

I found these a good value for the cost, and I liked the length. I have shorter shorts for wearing around the house, but these are nice for sitting down on a sunny lawn chair where you don't want to fry the backs of your legs. My issue, personally, was the size and shape of the pockets. They are strangely rounded and very shallow. I had hoped to carry my cell phone in the pockets while I garden, but it flops out when I bend at the hip. Whatever happened to nice, deep, square pockets anyway? I would still purchase again, but if you're looking foremost for pockets, these might not be what you are looking for. ... show more

These are the most comfortable shorts I've got. I bought them just to wear around the house, work in the yard, very casual. They are not heavy and the cuffed hem looks nice - gives it a different look, and they stay cuffed. After receiving my first pair I bought another. I really wish they came in more than 3 colors as I'd like to have several. My only gripe is the pockets are shallow. I often put my phone in it but am wary of it falling out. These shorts are great. They are long enough but not too long. I don’t have really long legs. I was worried they’d be too long. Thankfully that is not the case. I wear a size 20/22 am 5’7” and weight 260 pounds. I ordered a XXL and they fit great. The reason for the 4 stars is that the pockets are really small.
