A few years ago I purchased a Hanes sweatshirt from their website. The fit was not good at all; sleeves were skin tight, etc. Because these were offered on Amazon, with free returns, I thought I'd give them a try again. I'm so glad I did! I'm 5'9", 138lbs. Because I like my sweatshirts a little roomy, I purchased a large - both the pink and turquoise shirts fit perfectly. The sleeves are long enough but don't extend beyond the top of the hand, the fit in the hip area is just right - not snug but not baggy. I own other sweatshirts that are a heavier weight; these are perfect to wear alone in the fall and spring but I would wear something (turtleneck?) under it during colder winter weather. Size was right, like the color fit and shape. Nice and soft food quality. Not too heavy but will keep you warm on a cooler day not cold. No freys in the stitching and seems like it will last so pretty durable.

I purchased this sweatshirt in the navy blue in large because I wanted to be sure it would fit before I bought more. When I received it, the fit was good, a little loose at the hips but I bought to wear around the house so I want it comfortable. I'm 5'2" and 137#, so even though it looked short in the online photo, the length came just to the bottom of my hips, arms were a little long, but that is usual for me. It is lightweight and soft. So...I ordered two more because the price was really good. I ordered the white and the steel gray. Both were larger than the original one I ordered. The white was about an inch wider, the gray was 2" wider under the arms and at the hips. I don't know if it was labeled wrong, but seemed more like an XL. There is definitely no quality control on the sizes! I'll keep the white and hope it will shrink a little if I wash it in really hot water, the gray has to go back. ... show more

This is good for around the house wear, and it fits as expected. The pants, however are so enormous that two people can fit into a single pair and that was for a small size. I do like having this around - I bought two. There was a mistake in delivery. They were supposed to be two different colors, but I kept them anyway.
