Felt I initially overpaid (paid 75% of sticker price at retailer) but found these a good value in terms of fit, comfort, cooling, softness, and other features (odor control, tucking, wicking). I have some cheaper ones (Fruit of Loom) and store brands (like Kirkland) but I keep reaching for these and get a little sad when they are all in the laundry and I have to wear the heavier, scratchy white ones. If you keep these for several years as casual or undershirts, I would recommend getting over the first cost sensitivity and buy these, but if you just use them to work on a car or paint, you probably want cheaper ones.
