Sizing is where I ran into a problem. I'm on the cusp of XL & XXL; some makers have a different size than others. I prefer a looser fit, and should have ordered the XXL. The shirts wick moisture and dry quickly, which is what I wanted. I have a broad shoulder, narrow waist build and the shirts are form fitting, which means that there's no blousing at the waist. The fit basically clings to my shape. That's a good thing for reducing risk of fabric getting caught on something. On the down side, they were advertised as tagless behind the neck, but that is not the case. They have 2 tags; they're not noticeable while wearing, but tags none-the-less despite being advertised otherwise. Additionally, after 2 wearing's, and 2 washes, the stitching at the wrist on one sleeve is coming undone, and will eventually need to be repaired. ... show more

    • Great inexpensive shirt for sun protection

I really like these shirts and have about 8 of them. After 50 years of TX sun exposure my arms react negatively to too much UV, so these are a life saver. I am outside 6+ hours per day here in NW Michigan (my wife and I own a small resort), and these shirts allow me to work without overheating or roasting my arms. If we lived in a warmer climate they may be too hot to wear all day, but the sun protection is worth the sweat. The only negative is that the stitching at the wrists frays after multiple wearings/washings. My wife stitches them back easily enough, but I wish the sewing job was a bit better. ... show more

Fit is very good. I was concerned that the collar would be too loose or would stretch out of shape, but so far that has not happened. The only fault I can find is that it is not as breathable as Under Armor or Columbia shirts. It made me feel noticeably warmer on hot days when compared to those brands. ... show more

I work outside in Phoenix, AZ, during this heat wave summer 2023. These shirts are great, they feel cool on you like the heat is sucked away, but what I like about them the most, is the sun protection. I don't know if they're SPF 50 or anything, but the weave of the cloth or maybe the fabric itself is special, I would have been seriously burned without these. As it is, my back is a little burned, being a landscaper/groundskeeper I'm kneeling over something frequently, so my back/neck area is very vulnerable. The rest of my torso is totally fine, except my hands are turning very tan. My arms are completely covered, although a longer sleeve on each arm would be nice. The sleeves ride up when I extend my arm completely. I would still rate these five stars. ... show more

This product does as advertised. I have a problem with the sun. Wearing the shirt is like having a short sleeve shirt on on a hot day. And nice breeze flows through the material to keep you cool yeah protects my skin from being damaged from the sun.
