My husband loves these because they have a layer of soft fleece inside. They keep him cozy and warm while he's relaxing at home, and he's got several different colors. He's 5'11" and gets them in size medium - though he's not a heavy set guy. He says he loves them because the pants don't get narrower towards the ankle closure - they stay straight, which he says is far more comfortable. I recently purchased the Hanes Men's Jogger Sweatpants and I have been extremely impressed with the quality and comfort of these pants. The EcoSmart material is extremely soft and comfortable to wear, and I really appreciate the sustainability aspect of these sweatpants. The fit of these joggers is perfect for me, as they are not too baggy or too tight. The elastic waistband and cuffs are also a great feature, as they keep the pants in place and give them a nice, sleek appearance. One thing I do wish was different about these sweatpants is the pockets. While they are deep and spacious, I find that my phone tends to fall out easily when I am on the go. This is a minor issue, however, and overall I am very happy with my purchase. I have worn these sweatpants for a variety of occasions, including running errands, lounging at home, and even wearing them to work on casual Fridays. They have held up well to washing and wear, and I have had no issues with pilling or fading.     • Choice of Colors of Fleece Joggers Apparent Fit, Feel, and Weight are Different
Size: Medium Color: Charcoal Heather
3-Star Rating on this particular Charcoal Heather Mid-Weight Fleece joggers. I have other colors of Hanes Ecosmart Joggers which are better in quality, fit, feel, and apparent weight (A note that I have the same experience with different colors of the Ecosmart sweatshirts). I have this jogger in colors "Charcoal" and another in "Steel". The "Charcoal" as is described above - "Charcoal" being dark gray and "Steel" being light grey. Here are the side-by-side comparisons of "Charcoal" vs "Steel": Quality - "Charcoal" fabric feels thin, not tightly woven, stretchy vs "Steel" tighter weave, minimum stretch Fit - "Charcoal" baggy and long vs "Steel" not baggy, excellent length from crotch to ankle (just like the photo). Feel - "Charcoal" soft, thinner, feels cheap quality vs "Steel" tighter weave, not baggy giving higher quality look and feel Weight - "Charcoal" somewhere between light and medium weight vs "Steel" the expected medium weight I do not know the composition nor the affect colors have on fabric but I have the frequent experience that some colors share the characteristics of the "Charcoal" material and other colors the "Steel". I own a "Green" sweatshirt and a "Steel" sweatshirt and I get the same results, e.g. both are size large but the "Green" too large and the "Steel" just right. I had to intentionally shrink the "Green" to fit like a large, but the "Steel" after machine washing held its size and shape. In my experience the ONLY difference I notice in colors is that the gray fabrics are almost always heather weaves and the solid colors are not heathers. Even my t-shirts hold their shape and fit better when they are heather grays. Is this the primary difference that changes the characteristics of the materials, I do not know. ... show more
