Love these pants. They're super comfortable. I will say, they run pretty large. I'm about 5'11", with a 32 inch waist (according to my jeans), and the size Medium I bought was really big. The waist was loose, and the legs were probably 3-5 inches more than I needed. Easy to remedy, though, just tie the waistband adjuster string thing up and roll up the cuffs. Will probably be buying another pair in the near future. Maybe a size small this time. My only regret is that I got a green stain on it the first time I wore them. ✌️:P ... show more

Pretty nice for the most part. Soft, very comfortable, not heavy. I wanted sweatpants without pockets, but not many options there. Pockets make sweatpants fit badly and I don't use them anyway. With these, the pockets are vestigial and barely big enough to fit a credit card in (not that I would). My problem with these is the bizarre design. I wear 32 waist, 5ft9 160lb. In the past I got size M sweatpants and they are huge and baggy on me (and even worse once the elastic starts stretching out...which it will). I have to cinch up the waist string all the way just to keep them from falling off me, and they are SO baggy. This is always a problem for me with these generic sizes. S is just slightly too small, but M is HUGE. So with these I got S, knowing they might be a bit snug at first but also that they are stretchy and will get a bit bigger over time as the elastic wears out (and so they will probably end up a nice size.) However, these S seem to be designed for someone about 6ft 5in, 140lbs. Or maybe one of those spindly gray aliens. The legs are super long (like 6in too long), which is not a big deal. They would be easy to hem or just roll up the end of the legs a lot. The bigger problem is the torso part is also very long. I have to pull the waist all the way up to my ribs just for the legs to be in the right place... People used to wear their pants pulled up really far back in the 1950s I guess (judging from movies) but I'm not a fan of that. I like the waist of pants to be just above my hips, so to get these to fit like that I have to roll the waist up at least twice. This would not be so easy to fix.. I don't know, overall I like them quite a bit. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and they are already stretched out a bit and feel less snug. I really like how they are not baggy. I bought these mostly for lounging around the house and casual wear, and they’ve been comfortable. The fleece is soft, the fit is relaxed without being too baggy, and I like having pockets because a lot of basic sweatpants leave them out. The open hem also gives them a cleaner look than the elastic-bottom style. They’re warm enough for cooler weather without feeling overly heavy. The only downside is that the fleece can feel a little thinner after several washes, so I wouldn’t expect them to stay as plush as they feel brand new. These are undefeatable for the price. Been my go-to gym sweats for the last 2 years now. The colors stay good after washes. The material is really soft and feels good. They fit just right if you’re looking for a loose and comfortable fit. They are just perfect. The only area of improvement I can suggest for this entire time I’ve had them is the stitching strength, seams tend to rip as time goes but other then that, just excellent! ... show more

I’m struggling to find sweat pants that have all of the very very minimum, basic features people want out of sweats. These are open hemmed, which is amazing. The crotch is plenty far down, which is amazing. They aren’t Chinese sizes, which is amazing. But I have absolutely no idea why they seem to think that people that wear sweat pants don’t need pockets. There’s no back pockets. Okay, fair. But then the 2 pockets you DO get don’t even fit my hands in them. My phone hangs out and I don’t even have a large phone. There’s no room to carry anything. At an absolute minimum, a man is carrying a phone, wallet, and keys. Sure, you can stuff those things in the pockets and as long as you’re standing still they’re not going to fall out. But if you sit down, everything pours out of the pockets. I could use pockets 3 times larger. Then don’t get me started on the drawstring. Without that one very random YouTube video that would probably be impossible for anybody else to find even if I posted the name of it because the channel is so small with so few views, I wouldn’t be able to tie these. Or you can cut the drawstring in half, and even if you do that, the cord is so thin that tying it creates forever-knots that you cannot untie, so your pants are stuck at whatever size you tied them up at. Other than that though, these are great. Somebody could absolutely take these sweats, change a few things, and create million dollar sweat pants with the pattern. ... show more

For a 5'5" female, these sweatpants fit is a bit too long. As I expected. That being said, Hanes Women's Ecosmart Sweatpants do not have pockets. WHY? That being said I stayed with this btand...as I had purchased the Men's for my grandson in the past. Found them to be of good quality, for what a person wants in a pair of sweatpants. The female sizing game has gotten out of control, IMO. Not even getting into what type of guessing game re: what material are products made of anymore. I've purchased ladies pants that state slim fit/ or boot leg in the description: only to receive that product that has a flared leg bigger than anything from the disco era. "Flares" are not a good look on a middle aged, shorter than average sized lady that only wants basics. Jeesh.. Hanes Women's, put pockets in your Ecosmart Sweatpants please. I will, but I prefer to not put hems in my pants. Not to heavy. Not too light. I like the cord for the waist adjustment. Plan to purchase again.
