Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Sweats Open Bottom Sweatpants Fit: M is a bit longer than other Mediums that I have purchased. Anybody who buys sweatpants at this price ought to know that there are things that must be overlooked; in the case of length the Hanes has fit me perfectly. Pockets: here is another case where I may differ from most buyers, smaller pockets suit me; they are smaller than one usually gets with sweatpants in this price range. Comfort and softness will not be rated by me as I could care less about these features if in fact they are anyone's concern at all. The waistband has above normal elasticity, which is a big concern for me. They are perfect for PJ bottoms without the crazy plaids and holiday imprints. Because of the PJ use on my part my evaluation of bagginess, which I believe the Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Sweats Open Bottom is trending towards I am well satisfied. I have seen a trend toward a tapered leg. I favor the baggyesque and could stand to live with S-pants that are baggier than I would like but with these they are not outside the range of living with something that is not peculiar to one's personal taste. The price is exceptionally low for my needs. As a brief autobiographical note: I bring this up because of the anonymity of this review. Embarrassment pervades my mentioning how many pairs of sweatpants I have purchased in my life. Suffice; to say, it has been over a sixty year span.

Bought a pair of these on sale as I needed some heavier weight pants for winter. These are microfiber fleece and fit well enough. They seem warm but it hasn't gotten really cold here yet. Comfortable enough for the price but the elastic is quite weak. I normally wear 2xl Hanes underwear and sweatpants so I ordered that size. They do fit but as I said the elastic is very weak so they feel loose and unless I use the drawstring they struggle to stay on my waist.

Exactly what I needed to find with the cooler weather approaching and my son as tall as can be. I noticed others mentioned the sweat pants were long, and they are. The quality, size, and fit is typical Hanes and the fleece is soft and warm. Yes, they cause dryer lint but most sweat fleece does. We have no complaints. Will be ordering more.

4.9 stars Pockets may be a little small. An iPhone fits but doesn't feel secured. A slight negative. Good fit and comfortable. True medium weight. I wear a 38/30 in Wrangler. An XL would easily fit a 38, 40, or 42W. Reasonable stretch.

Know your size! This was not the right size, and the legs were wide cut and too long. The pockets were ok. The material was heavier than other pants my husband has worn. He just wasn't happy with them so we returned them. Learning curve for us as my husband has lost weight because of health issues.

These sweatpants aren’t just clothing—they’re a lifestyle choice, one that says, “I could do real pants, but why?” First Impressions: The moment you slip into these bad boys, it’s like your legs have been given their own personal cloud to lounge on. Seriously, I’m pretty sure these sweatpants are softer than my hopes and dreams. And the fleece? Oh man, it’s like a hug from a really cozy bear who’s also really into saving the environment, because these pants are EcoSmart, after all. That’s right, you’re saving the planet—in sweatpants. Take that, jeans! The Fit: Let’s talk fit. These pants are roomy. Like, “I could fit an extra sandwich in my pocket and you wouldn’t even know” roomy.
