These shorts slipped on easily, being true to size. The charcoal heather has an attractive depth of tone that will match up easily with many of the t-shirts I own. This pair has a 50/50 fabric combination of cotton/polyester, which gives a comfortable fit. The elastic has a fair amount of stretch, making it easy for on/off, but staying in place once on with movement. I appreciate comfort and this would be the description I give for this pair of shorts.
