This short is soft and comfortable to wear. Short is light in weight. It is good for lounging and casual walking. I did the couple of washes and don't see any shrinkage and fading out the color like that. Normally Medium size will fit to me, but this runs little big to me. I like this mixed material fabric it will be soft and easy on skin. Check the size chart before ordering.

I ordered the black heather Medium pair. The color isn’t really black at all; more of a typical gray heather common to sweatpants. These shorts are a decent “guy” length with deep pockets. The material is “sweatpant” feeling on the outside, but it lacks the fuzzy sweatpants lining inside. That being said, they’re a nice weight without being bulky or heavy. They came through a wash/dry cycle with no shrinkage, fading, or pilling. My only caveat is to check sizing carefully. Using the Hanes chart in one of the photos gives the best indication of size. The Mediums came with a tag that said “M 38-40”, so I was a little worried they’d be too big. However, despite the tag’s labeling, they do fit more like the 32-34 Medium on the chart while having some room to stretch. The drawstring is always a useful feature to have on shorts like these, and Hanes included it. Overall very good shorts; the sizing tags were just scary.

Hanes is my usual go-to brand for these types of products. The shorts arrived nicely folded in a bag and are what you would expect from Hanes - soft and perfect for lounging. I prefer sweats to have some cotton vs synthetic athletic shorts. The drawstring is a nice touch (and black), but the shorts themselves are grey, and calling them heather black is a bit of a stretch!

As much word salad descriptors that are thrown at these, they are just good, comfortable heathered gray sweat shorts. That's a good thing. The sewing is solid, they are midweight, not bulky and comfortable. Standard US sizing when ordered here, though the tag for medium stated waist size 38-40" had me concerned. It is wrong and they fit like they should. They went through the wash without issues and are comfortable enough to wear as sleep shorts.
