They are soft cotton, comfortable loose fitting and deeper pockets than my old ones, this is great as they were often too short. Ordered 2 pair to test and they are perfect. The shorts are very comfortable and well made, great for relaxing around the house, they don't bind and have some give to them since they are 100% cotton. I like to wear them with no underwear and is an issue for me wearing them in public. I purchased the light colored grey and they tend to cling and notice they sometimes show the outline of my penis. I choose these because I was looking for 100% cotton shorts. Hard to find. I like that they are soft and comfortable with larger pocket opening. The draw string is big enough and not thin string. The only problem I have with these shorts is the waistband is poor quality. It needs to be thicker and stiffer in a way. As is the waistband rolls over to easy. I have other 100% cotton that the waistband never rolls over and because of that fit much better to me. Any activity in these shorts have to stop and unroll the top ugh.
