The Hanes Crewneck is a comfortable and versatile piece of clothing. The fabric is soft, the fit is true to size, and the tagless design enhances the overall comfort. The range of available colors is also a plus. However, one issue I’ve noticed is that the shirt tends to pill after a few washes. Pilling refers to the formation of small, fuzzy balls on the surface of the fabric. It’s a common problem with many types of clothing, especially those made from synthetic fibers. While it doesn’t affect the comfort or fit of the shirt, it can make it look worn out and old. Despite this, I still believe the Hanes Crewneck offers good value for the price. It’s not perfect, but it’s a reliable, everyday shirt. Just be prepared for some pilling after a few washes. Got these shirts for work, one in 'deep red' and one in 'denim blue', to wear in colder weather. I usually wear sizes in the neighborhood of women's 2 - 3x, so I figured a men's 2x would do the trick. It fits very comfortably and did not appear to shrink at all after being washed. The sleeves are a touch long but that is alright. The feel of the fabric is very pleasant especially the inside of the shirt, which is very soft and cozy. I can be picky about fabric textures sometimes due to sensitivities, but this was nice enough that I almost didn't want to take it off. I'm quite happy with them, work said the blue I got wasn't quite the right shade (though they were happy with the red one) and while I suppose I could have returned it I liked it enough that I was happy to keep it for personal use.
