Comfortable Relatively Pill Resistant Nicely fitted elastic cuffs Neck hole hides an undershirt CON: Lightweight vs typical sweatshirt Waist runs LARGER than typical I'm a 34 waist with muscular chest and Lg sweatshirts usually fit fine. The waist on this one was too big (by a lot) so I returned it and got a Medium, which worked fine for me. I knew it was relatively lightweight before ordering (that's what I wanted). Hanes quality. Colors as shown, attractive. Super soft. Material is thinner than some others, but durable and warm --but not for extreme cold winter warmth unless layering. Runs just a little large, as a sweatshirt should. Already bought more!

Comfortable but Prone to Pilling

The Hanes Crewneck is a comfortable and versatile piece of clothing. The fabric is soft, the fit is true to size, and the tagless design enhances the overall comfort. The range of available colors is also a plus. However, one issue I’ve noticed is that the shirt tends to pill after a few washes. Pilling refers to the formation of small, fuzzy balls on the surface of the fabric. It’s a common problem with many types of clothing, especially those made from synthetic fibers. While it doesn’t affect the comfort or fit of the shirt, it can make it look worn out and old. Despite this, I still believe the Hanes Crewneck offers good value for the price. It’s not perfect, but it’s a reliable, everyday shirt. Just be prepared for some pilling after a few washes. I’m always looking for “cheap” sweatshirts to cricut. This sweatshirt is long but not to long, comfortable and holds up well in the washer and dryer. Plan on buying more colors. Great for an oversized look.
