I should disclose that I’ve never worn scrub pants, so I can’t speak to how these scrubs compare with others. I want to focus on a few things that have (or have not) come up in some other reviews of this item. Sizing: some reviewers have opined that these run large. I did not find that to be the case with the pair I received. I ordered a size L, even though based on waist size, the M would normally be a better fit for me. I went up a size because I’m 6’3” tall with long legs, and in most pants, inseam length typically goes up with waist size. So I’m accustomed to going up a size to get a better fit length-wise. Now, however, after reading the product sizing specs more carefully, I see that apparently all sizes have a 32” inseam. So, if you’re tall, just order to fit your waist. By the way, I measured the inseam on my pair, and sure enough, it is 32”. As for the trueness of the waist measurement, it seems just about right in my estimation. When laid flat, my size L measures 18” across the waistband, unstretched. That suggests a waist measurement of 36”, right in line with the sizing chart. Because my waist is closer to 33-34”, this size L is loose on me, but with the drawstring, it works fine for me. Were I to reorder, I’d order a size M, but the L is definitely workable for me. As for length, I typically wear jeans with a 34” inseam because of my long legs. With these scrubs, because I can tie the drawstring so the waistband rides a little low, the length actually is about right for me. Features: There are certainly plenty of pockets: one back patch pocket, two side slit pockets, and two side patch pockets. The side patch pockets are generous (about 7.5” tall, 6” wide), easily holding the largest smartphones. They do sit rather low on the leg, coming almost down to knees, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. The waistband is about 2” wide and has copious amounts of stitching, which should make it long-lasting. The drawstring is 3/8” wide and has a bit of stretch, which should ensure that the waistband doesn’t loosen up during the day. Overall, the quality of fabric and construction are what I normally expect from Hanes. Material & comfort: there is a little bit of stretch side-to-side in the fabric, and no stretch vertically. The fabric has a smooth feel against the skin. It doesn’t feel as synthetic as its composition would lead you to think. I haven’t had a chance to test these pants in hot weather, so I can’t comment on how breathable they are, but my intuition tells me they will be pretty comfortable. In summary, these are nice-looking, comfy scrubs. I’ll wear them around the house, and maybe to pop in to the grocery store, etc. ... show more

Great scrub pants, very comfortable as casual wear. I'm not a nurse, but I like scrub pants in place of jeans in many situations of wearing casual pants. These are made by Hanes and have the expected quality of construction in the garment. It's a more complicated build than some of the trashy fast fashion pants that look similar. Hanes keeps the quality up. The fabric keeps up well. I got splashed with pool water (with smelly chlorine) and no issue with color fade after. My only issue is the fit is oversized. I expect scrubs to feel roomy but these are falling off if not tied off. The elastic should prevent casual slide. I wear a 3XL off-the-rack and feel like I could have gone down a size easy. ... show more

If in the market for a pair of quality scrub pants, look no further than these from Hanes. Material is great and provides a bit of stretch for on the job comfort. XL sizing matches to around a 38-waist to about a 34-leg. They are designed for people with longer limbs so plan on hemming these accordingly otherwise. What really is a let down is the drawstring though. Instead of having it cinch tightly, its elasticity gets in the way of securing the fit such that an outsized amount of effort is needed to ensure that they don’t fall down by accident. Overall, it would easily attain a top score once that annoyingly stretchy drawstring gets fixed with something with less elasticity. ... show more

These are quite different from the old-fashioned cotton scrubs that have been around forever. The polyester, rayon, spandex blend fabric stretches, wicks and breathes quite differently than the cotton scrubs. The material has a much softer feel and lays differently, more like a fine fabric that resists wrinkles and flows like silk or other fabrics do. The synthetic materials are also fade-resistant from wear or repeated machine washings. The drawstring also has that same elasticity, so it moves more easily with your if you crouch down or bend at the waist. It actually looks and feels more like a pair of dress pants than scrubs. This is a unique form of scrubs. The elasticity of the material makes them much easier to move around in and they do not wrinkle so they always look clean and sharp. I like the extra pockets, too. The side pockets are deeper and wider than the others to stash more or larger items. For example, a cell phone in the deeper side pocket is more safely secure. The length of the leg is too much for me, I have short legs, but the material is easily hemmed and retains its shape if altered. These are definitely superior to many other scrubs, and they are priced quite reasonably, so I suspect I may want to get them in some other colors. ... show more
