This is a well made product. I got it for my fiancé. It’s very masculine looking and I love this clean look of it. The reason for the “3 star” review is because I was sent the wrong Humidor. I can going to return this one and hope for the right one to arrive.

I had lot's of hope when I read all the raving reviews. Received the humidor and realized that this must have started as a jewelry box and then someone had the big idea of drilling a hole in the front and shoving in a 10 cent hygrometer. This so called hygrometer just sat at 50. I added Propylene Glycol 50/50 Pre-mixed and it was at 50. I placed a pan with distilled water and it remained at 50. I place a sponge soaked with Propylene Glycol and you guest it, at 50. They say hat is Spanish Cedar. I don't think so as I have no clue if this box is even made out of wood. I had already returned a defective humidor so I decided to keep this one. Had to spend extra cash to purchase a couple of digital hygrometers. So add that expense if you decide to purchase this jewelry box to store your cigars. It ruined 25 cigars I had purchased. Finally when the digitals hygrometers showed up the cigars were pretty dried up. I also noticed that all the previous reviewers were not cigar smokers as they actually had not purchased this item.

I have tried everything, and it won’t keep the humidifier above 57%. Get the DUCIHBA! It is flawless. It’s only a few $ more. I learned my lesson trying to save $5.

This was a Christmas gift and sadly had to be given broken. On their site the only replacement option is for me to send it back and then wait another week for a refund. Disappointing

The analog hygrometer is completely inaccurate and worthless making this humidor a glorified jewelry box. Attempted to calibrate the hygrometer, absolutely will not go above 50 with the saltwater test, tried it 3 times. If I had not already thrown away the box I would return it, instead I’m spending more money to buy a digital hygrometer that actually works, putting that inside and leaving the analog meter on the front knowing it won’t work. Should have read more reviews before I purchased it, do yourself a favor and buy something that does what it says it will do.
