This is a fun and entertaining toy for children of most any age. It has games for different levels of abilities to entice younger children and challenge older ones. One of the easier and educational ones teaches children to match shapes. One of the more challenging ones I played was an imitation of Super Mario Bros. All the games were entertaining and most importantly, safe from harmful content that your child could easily get exposed to if playing online. I liked the initial presentation of the product. It comes in the pictured gift box, ready to gift your child and put an instant smile on their face. When you open the box and open the battery compartment, you will find a charged lithium battery in the battery compartment that is interchangeable with 3 AAA batteries. With all the batteries we use in toys, this put an instant smile on my face! I don't know how long the battery actually lasts, but my child has been playing it for a few hours and it still seems like it has almost a full charge. This is a great toy to entertain children when you need to keep them engaged and occupied while you are on the phone, driving, or doing something when you might not be able to give you full undivided attention to them. But be ware, it may not be easy to get it out of their hands! It is rather addictive.

Cute little game for kids. My daughter got it yesterday and has been playing it since. It’s very lightweight, the graphics are surprisingly decent, it has over 100 games on it. Plugs in to the side of the tv to play as well. I played on it some and some of the games are actually pretty challenging even for myself which i didn’t expect. Making it a great for kids I would say 5/7+ but I’m sure kids of all ages would enjoy it Battery also seems to last forever

Okay so this handheld game thing is pretty cool. My daughter loves it, which is the main thing right? The screen is huge compared to others I've seen, really nice and bright. She's been playing it non-stop since we got it and honestly, it's been a lifesaver on long car rides. The games are classic, stuff I remember from my childhood! It's got tons of them preloaded, so no extra buying needed. Plus, the ability to hook it up to the TV is a nice bonus for family game nights, though we haven't really used that feature much yet. Battery life is pretty good; we mostly use the rechargeable bit. It's a solid little device, feels durable enough to withstand being dropped (which has happened, lets be honest). Only downside? The instructions were a little confusing, but even I figured it out eventually. Would deffinately reccomend it!

To be fair to this little thing, it is cheap. That said maybe spend a few more bucks. It says "Classic Retro" games but I only recognized a few knockoffs. No M.A.M.E. or similar here. There's no instructions so here's some tips: I messed with it for 5 minutes just to figure out the volume controls. It's a tiny wheel next to the power switch. The power is a slide switch on the bottom. My other problem is the controls are reversed. The right menu buttons are 'menus' and the left are 'game play.' (In general terms) This means that game play is on the left hand which is obviously only good for left handed people. All things considered it was disappointing.

The games on this handheld device are for smaller kids. I don’t see them being interesting for any kids over 5 or 6. That said, the case is good quality. Not like some cheap 3D printed thing that has no weight to it. The volume works, there is a headphone jack and the colors are vibrant. Perfect for the little kiddos.

What a fun toy! I got this for my 6-year-old grandson, who has an iPad, a Nintendo Switch, and loves all things Minecraft. In other words, he's pretty sophisticated when it comes to video games, but I just had a feeling he might also enjoy some old school style in a little handheld device. I was right! As soon as I handed it to him, he went to town on it. So far, he's worked his way through the first ten games or so--which means there are still about 90 left to discover. Love that it has so many choices. Bear in mind, when it says "retro games", that's a bit of a cheat. It is BASED on retro games, but these are not the real deal as far as I know. Instead of Whac-a-Mole, you get Rural Goblin. Instead of Frogger, you get River Jump. I'm not sure what other games have been approximated on here but so far I haven't found anything like Tetris or Joust or any of the others I was looking for. Not saying they're not there, just haven't run across them yet. At least this explains why they don't include a game list in the description, because no one would recognize any of these. (Super Boy? Blobman? Little Hag? Nut Cracky? etc.) Still, the layout of the handheld is very intuitive and the games are easy to figure out. You'd think a kid with a big video game setup would be bored, but so far my grandson is really enjoying these, so I'm pleased despite the deceptive "retro" description.
