The media could not be loaded. I got this mini portable console for my daughter. It’s smaller and packed with classic games that bring back childhood memories. The controls are easy for kids to use, and the variety of games keeps them entertained for hours from puzzles to racing, action, and retro arcade games. What surprised me the most is how much adults enjoy it too! It’s lightweight, super convenient to carry while traveling or waiting at appointments, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected. .. Although that wasn't my initial experience, as I couldn't find the volume button at first, so I was convinced that it was permanently loud enough to be uncomfortable. Fortunately, what little instructions there are do mention the volume knob. ... There are way too many games. Most of the games are probably playable, but there are a few that move so slowly or have other quirks about them that make it seem like they wouldn't be very playable. The puzzle games are probably the most playable, as they tend to be turn-based, and not timed. For some reason, the 'sports' games are the ones on the main screen, all others have a group category. There seems to be no way to change this I noticed a specific game that I'm fond of playing on the package: the one with bubbles. It turns out the version of the bubble game on this unit is not the same as the one I've seen elsewhere. And the physics are a bit weird with it. But I found it enjoyable none the less. While I was searching for that game, I found a few others that I found fun. Since there are no instructions describing the games, I'll just mentioned them here: A few games that I found interesting: puzzle: 05. Gobang (go) 09. Rolling box 31. Tower defense* table: 25. Classic Tangram 32. Block Squad relax: 24. bubble shooter 25. colorful box ( this is one of the tetris like clones ) 12. color bead loops ( I actually played this one for hours ) 05. brick blaster ( super breakout with power ups ) 01. benthal jewel ( another tetris like clone. sort of. I think it's more like bejweled ) One of the other reviewers mentioned that there are no instructions for the games. I think part of the fun is figuring out how to play. But this definitely raises the age limit for the games. Another reviewer mentioned something about 17 games. I wasn't able to figure out what they were referring to. There's definitely 190+ activities. ( Though the "education" activities are a bit weird. Regarding taking this on a plane, I think that's actually a great use for it -- there's no signal to speak of on this device, so there would be no need to turn it off at any time during the flight. *Update- after writing this review, I found tower defense, and became absolutely addicted to it. It's probably a pretty consistent scenario, but worth a few hours of uninterrupted game play at least. Also, here's a tip- the unit goes into sleep mode if you don't touch the controls for a while. That includes if you are on level 8 of this game waiting for the scenario to complete ...
