I wish the small strap wasn’t riveted and allowed me to remove when I wanted to wear it as a sling but the longer strap fits nicely inside the purse for the times I need to. Like many products created for women, we all have persnickety likes and dislikes, don't we? What I love about this bag, you may hate. I need a bag to hold "STUFF"! (That's said in a deep bass voice) You may prefer a hand clutch by Kate Spade. Personally, I don't see what the hoopla is about those. They hold nothing. See, we're all different. I am kinda picky about my purses that I spend actual money on. Recently, (like for the last 10 years) I been using a grocery tote. I just couldn't find style, color, or features for less than $100. I'm cheap. I don't want to cart around something that costs a bunch of money, I just want it to look like I am! I like everything about this purse with one exception. I like the faux leather. It is supple, soft and feels nice. It also looks nice. I like the BOHO style. I like the size of the bag. I mentioned my tote bags. I need space. I need pockets, I need zippers. I need my STUFF! This bag has a lot of stylish room. I like the heavy zippers. I don't think these zippers will give up due to hard use any time soon. I like the layout of the interior. THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING THE INTEIOR BLACK. I have passed on many a purse because of black lining. I'd prefer a color other than gray, but it is such a huge step in the right direction that I'm not going to complain about that. I'm just so glad it isn't black. How do designers expect you to find anything in a cavernous bag with a black lining?? The interior has a middle zippered pouch and a zipper pocket on one side. It has two side zipper pouches that I didn't think I'd like, but I really, really do. it also has a back zipper pocket. I actually haven't found a use for that yet, since this purse is SO roomy. I like the handle that can be used as a hand hold or swung up onto the shoulder. I haven't used the longer one yet. I wanted this on my shoulder and tucked under my arm. It's perfect. My one complaint, and keep in mind this will not keep me from enjoying my new bag, is that it is a little heavy. All of that quality of materials costs in the weight of the bag. Then when I pack it with my STUFF, it gets heavier. I'm thinking I'll just build some "purse muscle" to deal with that little issue! Seriously, we all have our little picky things that keep us from liking one bag or another. This bag hits everything for me. I love the style, the quality, the roominess...I like it so much, I may buy another one and put it away for when this one finally gives up the ghost and becomes too ratty to use. It needs one more secure private pocket in or outside with a zipper. I have something I have to carry with me always. I like it in a unseen place. It is well made and the dark brown is beautiful. This Bag has an expensive classic look. But I have eczema and the Repreve plastic like lining didnt work for me. It is rough for my eczema and makes a sound upon touching like opening a plastic wrapped biscuit.... i really disliked this noisy cheaply artificial Iining so I tried to remove it but that didnt work and now i can't return it. Also the short strap is okay but the long crossbody strap is too thin and also feels like plastic although it doesn't look that way. Anyways, it digs in and slides off my shoulders. They should add a removable guitar strap. Unfortunately I lost my money on this because I tried to remedy it by moving the liner!!! ... show more

I got the large size in the color wine with gold hardware. Pros: Well-made, size is as described (large but not bulky), color is as described ("wine" is the same as burgundy), hardware doesn't look cheap. Interior is as described: roomy interior, one small zippered pocket, two side pockets, one center large zippered pocket that divides the interior of the bag into two sections. Also has an outer zippered pocket. A nice plus is that the shoulder strap is lightly padded, and the crossbody strap also has a very light cushiony feel to it. Cons: Exterior and interior material. I really like this bag because of the "pros" listed above. The one thing that keeps me from loving this bag is the material (exterior and interior). The description says "faux leather," so I wasn't expecting real leather, but I was disappointed at the feel of the bag because some faux leather can feel quite buttery. This bag feels a bit like vinyl. The gray interior material is made of thick nylon and is a bit "noisy." I'm keeping this bag because everything else is exactly what I've been looking for. I need this bag to function as my everyday/workhorse bag, so I can overlook the material based on what I intend to use it for. ... show more
