For someone my age, 65, I needed a lighter ball and not only am I able to swing the ball easier, I'm able to place it on the lane where I want it, in a more consistent manner. I just needed a 13lb. ball as I found out my 15lb. ball was just hurting me after 4 games... shoulder, and fingers specifically. But that aside, this ball with it's advertised "Adhesion" additive to the cover stock, ignores the oil. Maybe ignores it, isn't quite that accurate, but its as close to how I perceive it's ability to track through the oil. I'm just an amateur 'left-hand' bowler but I would recommend that you try this ball. ... show more

I had taken decades off from bowling and chose this ball (which was JUST released) as my new ball! It had great reviews and descriptions! It was promised delivery by 3/29 (3/27-3/29). Even on 3/29 it was listed as "Arriving today by 8 PM"! it arrived FOUR DAYS LATE!!! DON'T rely on their promised delivery date!!! HAVING SAID THAT... I had to change my plans, as the ball was very late! Once I used it, I found it to be a very good ball. It's very responsive. I'm happy with my ball choice! (Just not the vendor?) I recognize the S/H may not be the responsibility of the vendor, but it still affects the purchasers and should be accurate! ... show more

Only used it once, so far. Lanes were fairly dry, so I was expecting a lot of back end action. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly aggressive, performing about the same as my old Columbia black U-Dot (>35 yrs old). It could be because the holes were drilled much larger than my previous ball, and my grip isn't what it used to be. Still have some getting used to, but found it very accurate on spares, which was a nice surprise for a first use. ... show more
