The picture I picked from showed it was on a table...this cover is very long/tall. To be used on a free standing umbrella..not a patio table umbrella. It works to protect the umbrella from weather and sun...and does a good job...just awkward to put on an umbrella on a table.

This cover is more rugged than others and is worth spending a bit more. It definitely keeps the water off my umbrella. The zipper is a little short which makes it difficult for short people to get on/off but I found using my broomstick to push it off and straighten it when I put it back on, is the thing to do. The telescoping stick is too short for me. I would buy it again if I needed to but I don’t foresee because it is sewn well and of good quality.

This cover easily covers our 11ft umbrella and it looks very nice. The material is of good quality and will keep the rain off the umbrella. However, how do you install it??? It comes with a collapsible metal rod to help push the cover into place. Well, we are dealing with an umbrella that is approximately 10ft off the ground and is anchored onto a wooden base on the ground - there is no tilting the umbrella. So, we tried using the rod to push the material over the top of the umbrella. Heavy material doesn't push very well and the rod starting collapsing. Long story short, we finally used a ladder to push the cover onto the umbrella. It worked well and the cover stays in place with the zipper. Overall, this is a very nice cover. I'm not sure if they could have done something different to help with the installation process. Just be aware that it may be difficult to put the cover on the umbrella.
