These are decent canvases at their core. Blank mediums meant to contain art. With that in mind, they hold nothing but potential. The pack is a nice mix of sizes and are primed and ready for your next project. They have a nice frame, not over-built, but as sturdy as they need to be.

I myself don't do a lot of painting, but my kids have all taken up painting with acrylics so I try to keep them in canvases. These seem to be of very good quality, the canvas is tight, the frames are sturdy. I've bought some where the frames are barely held together and will practically fold. Not so with these. I'm certainly no pro at choosing canvases, but these are a great deal I think, for the quality of the frame and stiffness of the canvas. It's not drum tight, but I don't think you want it that tight. There is a little give to it certainly. Works great for my kids anyway!

I ordered these for my 11 year old who has been working on expanding her artistic abilities. This is a good set for the beginner, though I'm not sure if I (someone who has been painting for 25+ years) would really want to use them. I prefer something a bit thicker and stiffer, where these canvases seemed a little on the thin side. I did see a review that said the canvases were smaller than advertised, but I think the listing must have been updated since that time. I measured the canvases we received and they matched the sizes listed when ordering.

For the price these are at (under $10) these actually aren't too bad of quality. They're very sturdy and easy to paint onto. They're a little on the thin side, but surprisingly still sturdy enough for painting.

This canvas set was a surprise. None of the canvases were the size stated in the product description. Each canvas was at least one-eighth short in measurement. Also, the wood frame measured half an inch thick instead of the 5/8 inches that is stated in the product description on each frame. When a manufacturer advertises a canvas as something like a 5 X 7-inch frame or else, you expect them to deliver a frame the size stated. For this reason, I am giving these canvases a one-star review. The canvases did not come with canvas wedges, which would have been nice. They are gesso primed. A student artist can paint on them, but attaching hanging hardware properly will be very difficult since the wood is so thin. It is obvious that the manufacturer cut costs by reducing size without changing the description of these canvases, which is a shame. While this three-pack is economical, it is recommended that you look elsewhere for a better set of canvases.
